It’s a cute experience if you rope drop it like this. Same with Peter Pan. As for your Autopia question, while EVs will be a huge improvement, it’s still a boring ride and will still rank pretty low for me.

My guess is that it’s the location. There isn’t much that can go there. And so they just left it. It’s too much money to tear it down and replace it with basically the same ride or a lateral move to a similar attraction.

I went on a submarine ride at Walt Disney World when I was very small and I'm actually really excited to do the Disneyland one when I visit for the first time. It's something I never thought I would experience again 😊 I want to go on the canoes too!
Spinning rides are usually a no-go for me. Autopia would be better with electric cars and a holiday overlay. Nemo was my mother's favorite ride. We ended up riding it back to back. Davy Crockett's canoes is awesome. I'm with you on Roger Rabbit. There should be a easy non-spin option like Mickey's death wheel.
The reason Golden Zephyr isn't higher on the list is because it's a pretty vanilla ride. There's nothing really to get mad about the ride. It's just there. It's the equivalent of lukewarm milk.
I have a video request- my husband is a big and tall guy, we are always unsure which rides will work for him, and I would love some info on best ways for him to enjoy DL without feeling too squished or like his head is going to hit something on a ride, lol. I would think others may also be interested in this topic?
Great suggestion! I actually get asked a lot from "Pooh-sized" people (as they like to call themselves) about ride vehicles, so this idea is already on my list. I'll be sure to add height into the equation as well. I can't ever promise a turn-around time on the video, but it is something I've got written down to do at some point.

Autopia what I love shortly after and during the fireworks show is usually a 5 minute wait and a popular attraction still after 70 years usually having a 5 minute to a 15 minute wait.

Hard to argue with this list, although I'd throw in Jumping Jellyfish and Symphony Swings into this mix maybe yank out Pixar Pal'O Round and Autopia to make room for them. If I had to guess, they didn't make the list because they are so unused that people probably forgot they exist

Last year we went on Pixar Pal Around and had no idea the cars swung, we got on it because it was such a short line. Well… I sat down and wondered why they had puke bags in a Ferris wheel. Well I puked on a Ferris wheel. My 9 yo daughter thought that was so funny!
I understand this is being commented by mostly adults - so most of those rides are hard for some to get in! My kids and now Grandkids love almost all of the rides mentioned. If riding the Matterhorn - just lean forward - you don't get bumped around as much. I don't like Goofy's sky school because I grew up by Santa Cruz and that ride would go off the tracks when it hit the curves. Never get rid of Autopia, Small World or The Mickey Wheel.
Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me when do you think would be the best time to go to disneyland when it might be the least crowded. I can't buy a pass and moved from san diego to orange county recently and want to take my son there sometime soon. It's a Small World is the favorite of both my children. They love the bright colors and enjoy the song. I have learned to love it because it's very long and air conditioned. The song doesn't bother me at all. Also, Autopia wouldn't even be on my worst ride list if they swapped out the cars for electric. I can't stand the smell and the noise isn't great either.

Thanks for your videos! I watched a bunch of them before going to Disneyland and DCA last week. The most helpful tip was the free ice waters at all of the mobile phone food pickup windows. We had one in hand at all times and didn’t have to carry a water bottle. It came in so handy because we went on Sept 6th which topped off at an excruciating 110 degrees. (Had to go that day as it was planned months before) We did however find out that an extremely hot day is similar to an extremely rainy day… it was super uncrowded. At the hottest part of the day we did 7 fantasyland rides in 1 hour including Peter Pan! We did 9 attractions in the morning at DCA and then headed to Disneyland for the rest of the day and did 18 attractions before leaving at 10:30pm. This included lots of window shopping to stay out of the heat and lots of stops to try different foods. And best of all you didn’t need any type of jacket or sweatshirt. And we only had to deal with three really stinky guys while in line for the Mickey and Minnie ride, which once we got to the carton room we were able to distance ourselves. 😂 Thanks for your great videos!
I have a love/hate relationship with the Matterhorn.When my family and I were there in 2015 we all walked off the ride holding our necks.I had to visit the chiropractor when I got back home.However,It’s still to me a classic ride so I would ride it again
I agree fully with pan - I hate that ride. It's the shortest of the dark rides in FL, has the least amount of animated characters, the line is terrible and always super long, and the wait time never seems to be accurate. The first time I rode it I was seriously disappointed, like I just waited 45 minutes for that? It's not even in the best ride in the land, heck I'd rather do story book.
I totally agree with Roger rabbit. It’s like a 65 minute long line for a 3 minute ride that in my opinion is not that enjoyable.i remember on my first time waiting like almost 2 hours to get in this ride and it was jerky, bumby, and I just did not enjoy it. I appreciate that getting put on the list haha But it’s a small world unfortunately doesn’t make it on my list haha, that’s my childhood, no matter how old i am it will definetly be an all favorite haha!
I will not stand for Finding Nemo subs slander! I love this ride! Maybe it is because Nemo is my sons favorite and his face just lights up when we ride it
Just wanted to say an overall thank you for making my trip flawless when it came to time go. I went on Sept,9+10 and man was it ever hot but it made the lines pretty short. the longest line i was in was 45 mins for Roger rabbit.
I'm not surprised to see Pixar Pal Around on the list but my daughter and I love that ride! Im surprised to see the canoe ride there, that one is fun. I was even on the canoe team for the cast member canoe races earlier this year
I went to Disneyland on the 9th when it was extremely hot and let me tell you, It's a Small World having a short line was the best feeling of the day 😂 Rode it twice to get out of the sun and by that time a lot of park guests chose to leave. Thanks for the list!
1. Goofy's Sky School totally screwed up my neck for two weeks afterwards with the sudden jerking motions. It's in that Matterhorn category where I will only ride it once in a long while. 2. Grizzly River Run. Obviously subjective but having to make awkward eye contact/conversation with strangers and getting totally soaked (especially the feet, though I know you can put your feet up and avoid some of the water), even if you sit away from the openings, isn't my personal idea of a good time. At least with Splash Mountain you could sit in the back and avoid most of the water and the theming and music was great . Not so much on GRR. 3. Casey Jr. Not for the ride itself, which is fun, but the totally-exposed-to-the-sun line can be brutal in the summer when only one train is running.
My problems with most of these rides is the ride vehicles are tight & the ride itself is too uncomfortable with the jerks & sudden stops. However i do like most of the rides theming 😊
@@GhostOfJohnLennon WDW’s version of the ride is a lot cuter being an Ariel-type ride. But the submarine ride vehicle is what makes the ride unique and different from most other theme park rides. Coincidentally, LEGOLAND has a submarine ride that isn’t nearly as tight, is a constantly moving ride even when you’re loading which makes it go by quicker. So it’s a ton better. Except that I think it’s less interesting as far as what you’re looking at.
I agree that many of these on the list are not my favorite, but some do have a nostalgia to them. I also heard that Astro Orbitor can be kind of cool to ride during the fireworks show if you can time it right.
If in addition to everything that you said they are changing about Autopia, they also went much faster w/a more interesting theme, than yes I’d like it sig more. If not, than I’d like it just a tiny bit more. It’s just a waste of space. Time for a brand new ride there.
Uncomfortable is a good reason to dislike a ride. I hate Splash Mountain/Tianas because I find those logs uncomfortable. Astro Orbiter at WDW is just a fear thing. Way too high!
Yes, there's a separate part for those who don't wish to participate or can't handle stairs. Also with the castle walkthrough, there's a separate option where you can sit.
See it's def all matter of opinion! Cuz I love Goofy's Sky School and the Swinging Pixar Pal Around! I will admit though, those rides are more thrilling than they appear, which is probably why I love them 😆 I also love Guardians, that one's my favorite! But I do not like the canoes because yes, I do not want to row lol .. tried it once and never again 😆 I love Autopia either way so I'll prob feel the same even if they change cars. And it's not even that *I* love it but I love it for kids! Because I remember how fun it was as a kid to "drive" when you werent yet old enough. I agree with Finding Nemo being the worst though. I'm not even claustrophobic but I can def see how it would induce that feeling. I love Nemo but it's just not that exciting. I think the submarine ride at Legoland is better! Luckily my 4yo enjoyed it so thats what matters! Agree with you on Peter Pan! The wait is not worth the squeeze! Not really sure why its so popular tbh.

I went during on thanksgiving day last year (and a few days following) and it is a holiday week and Christmas season in the park so expect busier than normal crowds. We found it to be busy but manageable.
Why isn’t Smugglers Run on the list? It’s the most boring ride and usually has a long wait time! Why it has such a long wait time is beyond me, terrible ride.
One time I waited way too long for Jungle Cruise (upper and lower queue wait) and the kid behind me kept pushing my @$$. It is my # 1 Worst Ride tied with Finding Nemo (the stuffy heat inside - didn’t the original submarine have AC?
I feel like there was a lawsuit where a guy sued them for emotional damages after being stuck on it for 4 hours with the music running. He was a quadriplegic and couldn’t be evacuated like normal guests. So he had to wait until the boat could be returned to the unloading dock. I’m guessing they started turning the music off after that.

Yep! If Autopia got ev's instead I'd love it. They need to get some Ewoks or something in the trees though, incorporate it into tomorrow land a bit.
The Nemo experience is totally dependent on what kind of group you get stuck with under the water for that length of time..
I would definitely be more apt to ride autopia if they switched out to electric.

It’s like a 65 minute long line for a 3 minute ride that in my opinion is not that enjoyable.i remember on my first time waiting like almost 2 hours to get in this ride and it was jerky, bumby, and I just did not enjoy it. I appreciate that getting put on the list haha
But it’s a small world unfortunately doesn’t make it on my list haha, that’s my childhood, no matter how old i am it will definetly be an all favorite haha!

I will not stand for Finding Nemo subs slander! I love this ride! Maybe it is because Nemo is my sons favorite and his face just lights up when we ride it
The number of people with Nemo as their #1 least favorite ride was off the charts. It was like 60% of the comments.
You may be able to safely drink the water, but it is 100% in fact nasty in most locations across the park.

I like that ride when it was without the track. It was so fun when you were free driving and could pass the slower drivers
Just wanted to say an overall thank you for making my trip flawless when it came to time go. I went on Sept,9+10 and man was it ever hot but it made the lines pretty short. the longest line i was in was 45 mins for Roger rabbit.
I'm not surprised to see Pixar Pal Around on the list but my daughter and I love that ride! Im surprised to see the canoe ride there, that one is fun. I was even on the canoe team for the cast member canoe races earlier this year
I love the Matterhorn. It's not painful for me, but just difficult to get in and out of. lol
I went to Disneyland on the 9th when it was extremely hot and let me tell you, It's a Small World having a short line was the best feeling of the day 😂 Rode it twice to get out of the sun and by that time a lot of park guests chose to leave. Thanks for the list!
That heat was crazy. We stayed home even though we were supposed to go. Glad you made it and had a good time!
Ride the Fantasyland side of the Matterhorn, it’s a lot less painful
1. Goofy's Sky School totally screwed up my neck for two weeks afterwards with the sudden jerking motions. It's in that Matterhorn category where I will only ride it once in a long while.
2. Grizzly River Run. Obviously subjective but having to make awkward eye contact/conversation with strangers and getting totally soaked (especially the feet, though I know you can put your feet up and avoid some of the water), even if you sit away from the openings, isn't my personal idea of a good time. At least with Splash Mountain you could sit in the back and avoid most of the water and the theming and music was great . Not so much on GRR.
3. Casey Jr. Not for the ride itself, which is fun, but the totally-exposed-to-the-sun line can be brutal in the summer when only one train is running.
You had me at Autopia.
My problems with most of these rides is the ride vehicles are tight & the ride itself is too uncomfortable with the jerks & sudden stops. However i do like most of the rides theming 😊
You know you’re a Disney pro when you can wear Sandles to the park.

I thought about it. I just don't often take my GoPro to Disneyland. But it's definitely a way to get that ride.

@@GhostOfJohnLennon WDW’s version of the ride is a lot cuter being an Ariel-type ride. But the submarine ride vehicle is what makes the ride unique and different from most other theme park rides.
Coincidentally, LEGOLAND has a submarine ride that isn’t nearly as tight, is a constantly moving ride even when you’re loading which makes it go by quicker. So it’s a ton better. Except that I think it’s less interesting as far as what you’re looking at.
I agree that many of these on the list are not my favorite, but some do have a nostalgia to them. I also heard that Astro Orbitor can be kind of cool to ride during the fireworks show if you can time it right.
That would probably be fun. I’d give it a go if I stayed that late.
One idea for a video if you haven’t already is to show where all the on-ride photos are for those that get lightning lane multi pass.

If in addition to everything that you said they are changing about Autopia, they also went much faster w/a more interesting theme, than yes I’d like it sig more. If not, than I’d like it just a tiny bit more. It’s just a waste of space. Time for a brand new ride there.

Uncomfortable is a good reason to dislike a ride. I hate Splash Mountain/Tianas because I find those logs uncomfortable. Astro Orbiter at WDW is just a fear thing. Way too high!

Yes, there's a separate part for those who don't wish to participate or can't handle stairs. Also with the castle walkthrough, there's a separate option where you can sit.

I went on Nemo minutes before closing and that was a mistake. I was fighting the entire time not to fall asleep

See it's def all matter of opinion! Cuz I love Goofy's Sky School and the Swinging Pixar Pal Around! I will admit though, those rides are more thrilling than they appear, which is probably why I love them 😆 I also love Guardians, that one's my favorite! But I do not like the canoes because yes, I do not want to row lol .. tried it once and never again 😆
I love Autopia either way so I'll prob feel the same even if they change cars. And it's not even that *I* love it but I love it for kids! Because I remember how fun it was as a kid to "drive" when you werent yet old enough.
I agree with Finding Nemo being the worst though. I'm not even claustrophobic but I can def see how it would induce that feeling. I love Nemo but it's just not that exciting. I think the submarine ride at Legoland is better! Luckily my 4yo enjoyed it so thats what matters!

I went during on thanksgiving day last year (and a few days following) and it is a holiday week and Christmas season in the park so expect busier than normal crowds. We found it to be busy but manageable.

Why isn’t Smugglers Run on the list? It’s the most boring ride and usually has a long wait time! Why it has such a long wait time is beyond me, terrible ride.

One time I waited way too long for Jungle Cruise (upper and lower queue wait) and the kid behind me kept pushing my @$$. It is my # 1 Worst Ride tied with Finding Nemo (the stuffy heat inside - didn’t the original submarine have AC?
I don’t think it ever had A/C, but I wouldn’t really know as I haven’t seen the ride as anything but Nemo (at least that I can recall).

I've been stuck on iasw for 30 minutes. They did turn off the music after a while
I feel like there was a lawsuit where a guy sued them for emotional damages after being stuck on it for 4 hours with the music running.
He was a quadriplegic and couldn’t be evacuated like normal guests. So he had to wait until the boat could be returned to the unloading dock.
I’m guessing they started turning the music off after that.
Sorry, but the Matterhorn is the worst, bobsleds offer no comfort, especially the front seats!
