  • Putting together one of my adapted binders is super simple, so I'm taking you behind the scenes to show you how to put one together.
Shown in this video is my Math Adapted Work Binder.
You can find it here: bit.ly/MDCadaptedmath

Hi Mrs D! I am so happy that I found your work. I am a first year special Ed teacher and I love your morning work binder

Where do I find the visuals to print out?

I'm doing the alphabet part of the adapted binder and I'm wondering how do I know which ones are the answer sheets? Do all of the non answer sheets have the velcro?

Does the math binder have any work that includes dice or dominoes?

So you laminate first and then cut? It doesn’t peel? I ended up cutting then tried to get them all in the laminated sheets then they move or fall out...

I actually did a lamination experiment a few months ago (the video with results is also here on my YT channel), and there wasn't one combination of paper and lamination pouch that didn't peel. They all peel.

I found you a few months ago and our "Morning Pages" are a refreshing change. My 12 yo homeschooler is engaged! Huge! But, I am still verbally prompting, a lot! His OT has suggested that I write instructions for every page. I am doing that right now while procrastinating/writing with you. How do you encourage your kiddos who are not displaying independence? Thanks in advance!

Question, I'm trying to do these binders and task boxes....is anyone else horrified how expensive it is to pay for color copies? Is it cheaper to own my own and print exactly what I want?

Yes, it is cheaper to print yourself. Also - please don't ever print an AWB in entirety. You won't need all of it to start. For questions about Adapted Work Binders, you will find this Q&A helpful: bit.ly/MDCqa
