I wonder if he ever realized this isn't a metaphysical concept when the notes are saying "I hear people running around down there", it isn't the protagonist he's playing that is leaving these notes and also is going insane, there are literally, or _were_ literally other people in the maze, but they got killed. I feel like sometimes Jerma both overthinks things, and underthinks things, I have a hard time understanding his thought process.
