Bro hell no they are not the same linkin park. Linkin park has no rock in them like from ashes to new has rock in every song. For example numb is so boring no rock in that song not comparable

This is probably the most underrated compliment I've ever read. I literally heard Bring Me to Life on the radio today and thought "this really was like a pinnacle song for alt-rock." And now I read this after my like 15th time replaying this and I agree: this is a pinnacle song of alt-rock.
I know comparisons like these are meant to be really big compliments, and I agree that this definitely is real music. But FATN has their own style. They're not just several bands smashed together with no own sound. FATN sounds like FATN and that's what makes them amazing. No offense though, I get what you mean. It just sometimes feels as if people who comment stuff like this forget that FATN is a band of their own with their own great style.

@@Eyesset Yeah I'm familiar with Chrissy's other work including the one you mentioned but in fact I don't think she's done this much of a straight up rock song since weapon. Silent stranger defo has some strong aggressive elements but there's also more poppy-ish parts there as well.

To me, this song is special. Not because it's about a relationship but more so about a friendship. My best friend of 7 years just up and left one day. I gave him so much support when he needed it, and he never did in return, I thought as "brothers" you do that for each other. He got a new partner and since then he's changed and been a different person. This means a lot to me because its me crying out for my mate back, the guy I because a brother too, for this other imposter to leave and for the mate I know to come back. Sleepless nights, going through a state of depression, I lost the person who I graduated with, who I stuck with for so long

Never have I thought that Barely Breathing could get better than the original version, which was already one of my most listened songs on Spotify and one of my favorite Fatn songs. But the addition of Chrissys part sounds amazing and I'm glad that the beat also got a slight change. The piano at the beginning gives the whole song a more haunting and slightly creepy vibe. Also I just yesterday found out that Crissy the singer of Against the current is the same Crissy that collabed with other artists like Sam Tsui, which I loved to watch like 10 years ago.
