@@DavidRiddle-yt9qp Yeah I'm familiar with Chrissy's other work including the one you mentioned but in fact I don't think she's done this much of a straight up rock song since weapon. Silent stranger defo has some strong aggressive elements but there's also more poppy-ish parts there as well.
@@jameswalterii1911 TBH I've known about FATN for quite a few years but never really paid that much attention to them, hell never even listened to one of their songs proper if memory serves me correctly.
To me, this song is special. Not because it's about a relationship but more so about a friendship. My best friend of 7 years just up and left one day. I gave him so much support when he needed it, and he never did in return, I thought as "brothers" you do that for each other. He got a new partner and since then he's changed and been a different person. This means a lot to me because its me crying out for my mate back, the guy I because a brother too, for this other imposter to leave and for the mate I know to come back.
Sleepless nights, going through a state of depression, I lost the person who I graduated with, who I stuck with for so long

Never have I thought that Barely Breathing could get better than the original version, which was already one of my most listened songs on Spotify and one of my favorite Fatn songs. But the addition of Chrissys part sounds amazing and I'm glad that the beat also got a slight change. The piano at the beginning gives the whole song a more haunting and slightly creepy vibe.
Also I just yesterday found out that Crissy the singer of Against the current is the same Crissy that collabed with other artists like Sam Tsui, which I loved to watch like 10 years ago.
