Great video! Good feedback. My C8 is a 2023 HTC 2LT Z51 and I love it. But I am considering moving up to the Eray or the Z06. This car is an excellent value especially considered my first choice was a Porsche 911 turbo S which starts around $186k.
You know what's funny, I was looking at '15 GT3's just as I got the notification of your comment. I feel if I would stretch my budget to a Z06 it will be hard to ignore the option of a low mile 991 GT3.... And Thank you for your kind words
@@JayJafar Yeah I’m in love with my C8/Z07. I also have a Z51 Stingray. Needless to say the Stingray rarely gets driven now. The Z06 does make beautiful sounds although it’s about to get a massive upgrade to a Ryft titanium exhaust. The Ryft system weighs 40lbs less than stock not to mention its absolutely gorgeous
@@2020matrix8 Stingray AND the Z06.... I dont blame you for not driving the Stingray as much. Does the ryft have an x pipe? I think it will sound like an F1. Be safe out there
@@JayJafar No X on the Ryft, doesn’t really need it. The Ryft is the highest quality exhaust you could even think about putting on a Lamborghini or McLaren. They are literally art.

What if I told you that you straight pipe the OEM exhaust for the faction of the cost and keep valve functions, and it sounds awesome? Reply back, and I'll send you a video of how it sounds.
There’s no difference in a non Z51. The only difference is the brakes and that you can’t drive it when it’s cold outside because thr tires afe semi-bold and needs the floor to be hot to get some grip. I know because I own a ac6 and a 23 C8. Big fan of corvettes. Oh and it makes a little bit more noise because it has a different exaust
@@casmithc2 I did before I ordered my C8, it is a louder exhaust, brakes and routers 1” bigger, different brake oil, a awful rear wing and a set of tires you can’t use if it’s raining or cold outside

You cannot please all viewers and some people are too sensitive to any negativity PERCEIVED when you were simply giving honest feedback for improvement. Thank you for your homework in preparation vs too many TH-cam-rs experiment on live camera wasting viewers' time. I hate finger prints on the paint and the display screen 😁 it's just me and wrinkles in the leather seats but you can't stop that unfortunately. Has anyone heard of the new c8 dash rolling up or wrinkling like my 2011 grand sport 4LT
I think its more prevalent in warmer climates. Hopefully it doesnt happen on the newer c8s as I did hear some early models had that problem with the dash
Thank you for your informative videos. I traded my 22 1LT Z51 in and I am waiting on a 2LT, so I have some learning to do on the new features. Your videos are helping with that process. I have to admit though, the "spirited" driving makes me cringe. These cars gain HP in the cold and the tires are harder, so less traction. These things paired with damp roads mean slow down before you wreck your car. When you loose it, it will be over before you can react. Just my opinion. Thanks again for the information. BTW, my 24 will also be Amplify Orange with a high wing. I went with the black wheels though.
Congrats on your upcoming new C8, 2LT is the sweet spot for trims imo. Are you getting a z51 again? What about Mag ride? I feel you on the “spirited” drive comment. I have been in a motorcycle accident not too long ago. I am big on being safe and had all the protective gear. So yes “it will be over before you can react” hit me hard Thank you for your kind words
@JayJafar I did not go Z51 this time. I just got the performance exhaust. You couldn't get it separately in 22. I don't track it, and the brake dust was crazy. Hopefully, I don't notice much difference in the tires. I have never experienced the mag ride, and I didn't get it. They ride fine without it, I think.
@@tonys1203 We both will have identical cars than. The all season tires warm up easier than the z51 so you wont have to worry about warming up so much. I have the Performance Exhaust as well. If I was to build my car again the only thing I would add is the mag ride but even as it is the car does hook well

Man you were really riding that redline! You would absolutely love how the C8 Z06 drives. It revs to the moon and then some..
That would truly be amazing, and the sounds the z06 makes 🤌🏻
The stingray does have very short gearing (even shorter on z51)

I would definitely like to hear that and consider it. I do live in an emission test county but I 3 years untill when I would have to get one done

That is a very fair point, getting these all seasons warm on the street is almost impossible im sure it is a no no for the performance tires
@@JayJafar exactly all season wont stick to the floor at 120-150 mpg as well as summer only tires
You should read up on the Z51 package. There is a lot included.
