I just went to Porto for a few days over the weekend & absolutely loved the city & this stadium tour. A shame that we didn't get to go to the Presidential Suite but nonetheless had a great time with a great guide. The Porto museum was like no other. Definitely my favourite Portuguese team
Probably some extra care due to the covid crisis. The games have been with no fans, but the president and a couple other FC Porto personalities do assist the games in those seats. So, i guess it was a decision to protect both the stadium visitors and the people who use those seats. "Better prevent from happening, than fix after it happened". Just some extra caution for everybody's protection.

Yes, it's definitely worth a look and it's so easy to get and stay there - you'll love the city of Porto itself. As for Braga and Guimaraes - they're an easy train ride away. You should be able to figure out how to get there from Porto.
Great video ninh! I’ve had an idea for the bucket list, the hurling or Gaelic football all Ireland finals in croke park Dublin. The tickets are relatively simple and cheap to get and the experience second to none. I feel it would be a successful video as there are none other on TH-cam but the event it’s self is watched by 1.3 million in Ireland alone and about half of that around the world.

Ninh, if you are a member of a club or county (going to a London game or Mayo game could be a video in itself) the cheapest ones are around €40 which is incredibly good value for the magnitude of the game but you may be more knowledgeable than me!

I was on such a tour in 2013. Too bad they have not changed their practice regarding photos. Smartphones were not as common then, so I ended up buying some of the overpriced pictures so I have at least one memory of having been there. One of the points of visiting such a stadium is to take pictures! Hopeless. That you did not get to see the changing rooms was also a bit silly. All in all, very nice stadium, but the actual tour experience was below average.
Yes, I see where you're coming from and I agree. They definitely allow photographs now, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten away with videoing it. It didn't bother me as such because I'm sneaky, but I agree that it's a stupid rule. IT would have been nice to see the home dressing room, but what made the tour for me was the nice tour guides (both spoke English to me) and the excellent museum - one of the nicest I've been to.

But I actually remember very little of it, and that's because I have not seen a picture of it since 2013. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to see this particular video of yours. I could understand such a ban at Camp Nou, Old Trafford or one of the biggest clubs that have plenty of tourists, where you do not want it to pile up with people. But Porto is not such a tourist magnet. Porto is a big club, but no globally big club. In our time of social media, photo sharing, etc., I would think that a club like Porto, would appreciate that people from all over the world share photos of the club's museum and stadium

If you're a club that can get away with it (like Manchester United does) - then fine, but it's not good for the fans. The only reason I can think of, is that they don't want people making money from photos and videos that they didn't take. But even then, it's still pretty shallow!
