I’ve been bewildered by this phenomena for a while. I left the left because I couldn’t get on board with the gender ideology and the sudden embrace of Islam. We used to be a haven for intellectuals. Now we have people who don’t know what a woman is, and people who will disparage Christianity while hailing Islam as a religion of peace that’s above reproach. Moreover, the societies that practice Islam on a governmental level tend to hold extremely conservative values that go against everything the left believes in.

Tom misses a BIIIGGG point: the Left had an alliance with "the Palestinians" & Others & Arab Socialist BEFORE Islamism took control of those movements... the problem with the Western left is that they were too loyal to an old cause and ignored the Muslim Brotherhood and its Proxies and Iran, Saudia Arabia and Afghanistan as they Islamified "the struggle"

The left only supports islam because they are pro minority. Their idea of a Muslim is the same as a brown person in the west. A minority group. Therefore oppressed by the majority, by default. To remain consistent in their worldview, they must therefore support the minority, even if they are the majority in their country and have views opposite of theirs (they support everything they are against), they are not a majority worldwide, therefore they must also be globalists in order to fit their narrative of their minority (victim) status.

Great interview. But its important to note the 3 men butchered in a Reading park were all gay, as we're the two men castrated and murdered in Sligo. Both murderers were Izlamic. 8 years ago in a poll of British Muslims, 52 % wanted homosexuality criminalised. Last month another poll reported that percentage is now 72%. Although Sharia Law is only wanted by 32%, almost half support Hamas. These are not minority views.

the thing is, it's not racism. They hate you for being unbelievers, but they love white skin. If a white person, especially a female, converts to the cult, they think they won in the lottery and will treat her like royalty. On the other hand, if you are a black muslim, don't expect any type of respect. On the contrary, expect to be bullied and to suffer violence - at least in these islamic countries.
The reason is that Islam believes white skin is good, and everyone in heaven has white skin. (The 72 virgins are basically transparent.) On the other hand, everyone in hell has black skin. They believe that the devil is black.

The same force is behind both left and right political parties. It’s not what they disagree upon but what they agree upon that should scare you. Zionism will be the one world government and religion for the New World Order.
“• The third world war is to be played out by stirring up hatred of the Muslim world for the purposes of playing the Islamic world and the political zionists off against one another. Whilst this is going on, the remaining nations would be forced to fight themselves into a state of mental, physical, spiritual and economic exhaustion. The Third World War must be fomented between the Christians and the Islamic World. The War must be conducted in such a way that Islam and Christianity mutually destroy each other leaving the Political Zionists in control.”

Re Brexit. I am working class, I listened to all the debates about Brexit for and against and up to a few days before the Brexit vote I didn't know how to vote. Then I heard an interview with Yanis Varoufakis in London when he discussed his treatment by the Commission at the time he was finance minister in the Greek government. He said: "You British complain about your House of Lords because it is an unelected body but the Lords do not have powers to make laws, that power resides with the elected House of Parliament. The E. U, is exactly opposite, the elected members in the parliament have only advisory powers, new laws are created and enforced by the unelected Commission. Democracy is at the heart of the issue, that argument convinced me to vote out and nothing has changed since.

Completely agree. Also working class. I had no strong feelings about EU membership. I voted 'yes' when we went in, I expected to vote 'Remain'. But the more I looked into the issue, the more horrified I became. It's really a solid attempt to strip countries of their national identity and their ability to govern themselves. Eventually, it became clear to me that there probably wouldn't be any economic benefit to leaving -- the benefits would be all democratic. The ability to govern ourselves without being part of some insane trans-national government setting the legal parameters is worth pretty well any cost to me.

We just had a 16yr old attempt to kill a priest here in Australia. It was a terror attack because Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel was popular, had a large online following and was critical of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad in his public sermons.
I feel for the kids parents as they’d described him as being a loving kid until a year or so earlier. IMO a certain group perhaps recruited him and changed his way of thinking.
This was the day after the mass attack at the Bondi Shopping centre. The lone attacker had Paranoid Schizophrenia.
I enjoyed the interview very much because the point really hit home. When the Church incident occurred it was being live-streamed so the still images of just before he actually does it were shown all over the news. You then see all the men at the front dive on the kid and they saved the Bishop.
It was your other guest Jasmine, I think who said in the 1920’s Islam made their 100 year plan.

The message is basically do you want democracy or will every thing burn? Sadly although I understand the message , I personally disagree with this advertisement because it requires an educated perspective not to interpret such images in a concrete literal fashion that instinctively outrages the passes. The knee jerk reaction from the public might cost the DA votes. The awful burning of people, the destruction of vast areas of KZN by the ANC supporters in the 90s a press blaming the traditional Zulus and suspicions of a third force for the violence. In more recent times so many councilors and political functionaries are shot often in front of their children. But this nation silent on the problem of high murder and crime rates, stirs into a twitter mob baying for blood from what should be a trivial outrage.

Richard Dawkins was recently 'attacked' for saying he was a cultural christian.
He said this... because he feels resentful of the spread of the Muslim faith specifically.
He's a ''cultural Christian' because he prefers the quaint, relaxed, almost 'flaccid' version of Christianity that now prevails in the UK.
It has been de-clawed. It's a ghost, that echos throughout society... but has no real influence or power. Just like its monarchy.
It is a reminder of the past... but more importantly, an outdated ''impotent' reminder of where Westerners once morally and ethically stood.
Whereas the Muslim faith is a younger, more energetic and a rebellious religion.
Its leaders want it to breath, want it to grow, want for it to conquer minds and the entire world.
This 'project' is capable of being extremely dangerous and detrimental to a Western secular worldview.
It isn't xenophobia or Islamophobia to know an archaic belief system is diametrically opposed to your way of life.
At its heart, ( for the masses under its dictates ) all religion was a panacea from harsher times.
When peoples lives were wretched and an appeal to an afterlife ...was a cure to their present suffering.
Their 'sky-cult' father figure was in charge. Everything had a meaning and their life ultimately was 'only' a test.-run.
This 'was' a useful and important psychological tool. Now this archaic tool for Dawkins is definitely defunct.
Humans living in the knowledge... that this life isn't real is beyond dangerous.
Only their 'afterlife' having any real meaning... is a poisonous view of what it means to be alive.
It is outdated and obsolete. It dehumanises how you relate to others and their value. It devalues human life... in the here and now.
Dawkins is aware...that if the leaders of the Muslim faith gained supreme power tomorrow.
Everything the West has built, all art, literature and its culture would be immediately burnt or destroyed... as offensively sacrilegious.
All secular freedoms and individual rights demolished overnight. If you accept this cultural history as... a significant achievement.
Then the Muslim faith is not benign, it is something you should be deeply wary of. If it moves silently or noisy...
It doesn't ever 'come in peace'. It comes only to conquer.

In most parts of the UK and the Commonwealth the population has surrendered to tyrannical rule by woke bureaucrats and spineless, virtue-signalling leaders. They have also surrendered their language and vocabulary. In the UK, the term "Right Wing" is considered so toxic that no person will admit to being right wing. Most people seem to think it means something like a Nazi. This while actual Nazis (in Muslim garb) are marching in the streets of London. Wouldn't something like 80% of the UK have been considered "Right Wing" just a couple of decades ago? The BBC is pure evil and the general mouthpiece and cudgel of this woke infection. Regular people are too cowardly to stand up admit to being right wing and then intelligently define what that means. The UK is lost. Westminster Abbey will be a mosque in our lifetimes.

And despite what left-wing college professors have tried to claim about the Nazis being right-wing, the truth is, they were actually a hybrid ideology that took some ideas from the Left and some from the Right. I would say, furthermore, that the modern alt-right is composed of people with mixed left-wing and right-wing views.

The fallout between people on both sides was incredible and I have friends who are remainers or even remoaners who won’t let it go and won’t accept that it was a majority vote to leave. From what I have seen since, I would definitely have voted to leave. The immorality and corruption in the EU beggars belief and their very childish actions towards U.K. have been astounding. Whatever you thought about vaccines, the fact that Ursula Von Der Leyen wouldn’t take British vaccines when potentially tens of thousands stood to die, just because the vaccines came from Britain was something unbelievably dark and despicable. I really hope that people can be less attached to very strong views to the extent where they would ‘sell their grandmother down the river’ and come to common sense and humanity first and foremost.

Tommy Robinson (and the EDL more broadly) has always been very pro-diversity. It's the main reason the neo-nazi far-right types hate Tommy Robinson and the EDL. He and the EDL really just stood against Islamism. Appreciate the media miss represent him and the EDL and you probably wouldn't be aware of that, but just thought it was worth noting.
Also, I understand from a business perspective why you can't have him on, but it's a shame because I think you guys would have a good convo and he'd probably surprise you with how uncontroversial the majority of his views are. But I think you're touching on what I said about how the real crime of Tommy Robinson is that he's working class. Douglas Murray can argue far-right talking points while speaking a language familiar to middle-class progressives. While Tommy Robinson says stuff like "fuck Islam" in a working class accent so he checks all of the "uneducated white racist" boxes that makes him easy to cancel.

In Ireland, a little girl was also left on life support in that knife attack. Plus we had had a series of women murdered by migrants who had convictions for assault before moving to Ireland. So it was a tinderbox waiting to happen.
It is very uncomfortable in Ireland at present to listen to the outright antisemitism.
This is bizarre as Ireland was a refuge up to 1920/21 for Jews (note after Ireland gained its independence this started to change). The hypocrisy is dumbfounding within the chattering classes. They simply do not understand the history. They seem to have no respect that Israel doesn't have any natural resources. And yet they formed a powerhouse economy. So is it jealousy?
They have no idea of what Hamas actually believes in. They believe that Israel is trying to make a land grab. They have so much false information it is extremely hard to fight this. If RTE did their job, they could simply do a series of documentaries, but they won't as RTE (which is the state broadcaster) is made up of extreme left-wing people and Corbenista types. As an Irish Catholic (lapsed), I am embarrassed when I go home.

Lets not forget many left leaning moderate people do not support terrorist organisations. Many of us simply condemn violence, human rights abuses, and certainly terroism and genocide whoever commits it. This is not a problem with the left or the right as we know it. It's a problem with extremism. Extremists on the left or the right cannot comprehend a problem that's even slightly complex. They must default to a simple who's right and who's wrong becsuse they are idealists by their nature. Even if everyone is wrong they will pick a side and stick to it religiously even if it means undermining their own arguments. Both the far left and far right do this all the time and frankly the two are almost indistinguishable from one another.
