Imagine getting to spend a whole week with a billionaire.
What would you ask them?
What secrets would you hope to learn?
That's exactly what happened to me back in 2014 when I got invited to spend an entire week with Richard Branson at his Swiss Chalet.
It opened the door to the life and lessons of a billionaire visionary.
This was a masterclass in living, thinking, and executing at a level most can only dream of.
It was truly transformative.
He distilled decades of business acumen, personal growth, and lifestyle design into 168 hours.
I learned about the habits, mindset, and strategies of a self-made billionaire.
And today I’m sharing them with you.
Here’s what I learned after spending 168 hours with Richard Branson.

That's what I learned from 168 hours with Richard Branson! Let me know your biggest takeaway in the comments:)
Thanks for sharing with us.
Incredible insights on scaling a business without losing passion for it. A key takeaway is the power of systemization; by creating a robust system, you can delegate effectively and avoid burnout. Remember, it's not just about working harder, but smarter - leverage tools and automation to streamline processes and free up time for strategic growth. Good podcast.
You nailed it.
I just got back from spending two days with John Maxwell.
Same thing. Linda has been with him for 37 years and she manages his whole life.
All he does is Speak, Write and Think.
Except he doesn’t create the system. He likely hires someone to do it for him.
I was at Necker last year with Maverick and Richard. This is 100% spot on
He’s the real deal🙌
Loved hearing about your unconventional approach to technology, the power of brand licensing, and how to turns passions into revenue. Truly inspiring lessons for success!
His life models what great looks like
So much value in this video🙏 The real behind the scene
Putting it all out there!
Seth Appointed here tuning in! LOVE this! Thank you Dan!!!🔥
Truly fascinating!👏🏼👏🏼
Great videos! Your story is inspiring, and the way you explain things is rad! Can you tell me who your video editor is?
Thank you! I've just realized something.
In our country there's saying - better than 100 Lats (old currency of Latvia) is if you had 100 friends. And I had had that feeling sometimes. But recently I've told someone that you better have one true friend than 100 'friends'. And a true friend is one you can be yourself with and be fully relaxed.
AND just now I realized that the first saying is also true, but you gotta apply that to your business life instead of trying to find 100 soulmates!
I too spent days with Richard and he is present, peaceful and playful and the master of the art of delegation.
Ask him about the flight logs
Right!! He's a rich white guy just like the other sicko's named in the flight log's. He'll never pay the price for whatever he did that was illegal and very, very wrong!!
Greatest Skill in life is Social Skill
Who he hangs out with. On which plane. On which island.
As if 99% don’t know this.. It’s just that most people don’t care or aren’t disciplined enough not to spend their money.
WB does a similar thing😊
1:40 Is Helen more than just a regular EA? Could Helen be a CEO of a Company in her own right? Honest question.
Helen is a rockstar and could easily CEO a company.
The term EXEC assistant is used for a reason.
She’s a C-level person for sure.
Just like my Ann, she CEO’s my life ;)
@@danmartell I appreciate you and your time. I am big fan to How do the rest of us entrepreneurs get that kind of skill and experience on a smaller budget?

@@danmartell Anytime Dan! Thank you for putting such great content out there. I am grateful. Have a great day and thanks again! 🙂✨🙏🏻
Thanks Dan the Man
Appreciate ya!
I respect your video and got good input out of it. But if you look at Richard Branson's networth for the past 10 years, it hasn't gone anywhere. I mean, don't get me wrong, still a Billionaire and respect. But if you have invested in the SP 500, his networth would have be way more than what it is...I think sometimes we put different people on the pedestal but maybe it is time we don't put them so high, re-exam the numbers (his pump and dump in Virgin galactic got me lost all respect for him), and maybe it is good for them, and it is good for us, don’t just follow the herd with people on the pedestals). Just a different thought than the norm...
Every entrepreneur has the good and the bad. I look for what I can learn from every one of them👊
