We just wanted to say thank you SO much for this detailed and thorough review! 😊💛 It means the world to us to have this feedback. We wanted to let you know that we are working very hard on an action plan / roadmap to address the feedback we've been receiving around combat impact, movement, inventory space, and more, so we hope you stay tuned! 💛 Thank you so much for supporting our debut self-published game. From the bottom of our hearts, we are immensely grateful to everyone's support as an independent studio!
Remember this is their first game so support everything can be fixed later give them same grace y’all give Ubisoft ea and other massive multimillion dollar companies
which is none, I don't buy that stuff. Western gaming is dying, supporting bad products won't make things improve. The devs got paid already, its not like they work for free. That said this doesn't actually look that bad, free on games pass isn't a high bar to try.
@ western gaming is dying because people buy into junk with no effort and gamers as a WHOLE have contributed to these models we all gotta take responsibility and ask for more with our wallets
remember they gave Alien Isolation and M&L brothership a 5, and those are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better (yes I played all, im playing this one on gamepas)
Skill Up's review seems to go into a lot more depth with regard to how to use the elements and it actually sounds fascinating. It seems very organic and the combinations of different spells are used synergistically. you can even use the systems in various clever ways to solve traversal issues, for instance, using the gravity burst spell thing to launch yourself up to Great heights. The game is obviously not perfect and probably needs a few patches, but I feel like gaming bolt kind of missed a lot of the point of this game being a sandbox and allowing you to experiment with the different spells to create unique outcomes in each encounter.
Ok this was clearly at least first drafted by AI, and I dont think you played more than a couple of hours. Inventory can be significantly upgraded in this game, but it's a common critique in online user reviews based on early hours. Also, health can be easily replenished in the field in this game - your AI is confusing the game with Dragons Dogma.
This review feels like it was written by someone who just didn't understand the basics of the game and why they designed it this way. You don't seem to have made a fuss about the elemental magic which is awesome. I do agree a glider would have been cool. There is a compass btw in the options and you can assign hotkeys for the magic abilities.
I couldn't understand why the ice that I am making is hurting me. And when I am trying to kill enemy both killing me. Also the equipment, not enough spots means that collecting stuff is not fun. This game is max 5/10.
I was playing the demo and i actually enoyed it but the movement and magic movement is a pretty dang clanky and awkward and hard/uncomfortable to really use I like the cast of characters so far, the world looks like itll be pretty enough. I guess id just like more and more story but if you want a short sweet game based on exploration it seems like itll live up to that. Again thats just based on the demo so who knows, i may be a little too quick to say these things. Also keeping in mind this is a self published first game from the studio. They cant make a perfect zelda/colossus/crpg story heavy game right out the gate
I watched about 2 min of gameplay and immediately noticed how floaty and jank the character movement looked. Their movement was almost never accurately in sync with the terrain or their speed of travel. Immersion-breaking for me personally and enough to make me keep my money in my wallet...
I tried the demo and the character never quite does what you tell her to do. Her dodge and sprint are very slow to respond as well, when enemies move with more agility than Olympians. Even the Colossus boss was fast and agile, while the character is a frantic little ant jerking and stumbling about.
Depend on your gear weight. Movement/inertia/hit reaction is based on the gear weight. Try an expedition with no armor, no weapon, only magic 😅 Ninja !
How come every freaking review of this game except one show only early game footage? No other bosses, weapons, skills, nothing. Not even a different armour set just to show it’s there in the game 🤷🏻♂️

Thank you guys for creating something unique! Keep at it!
It's on Game Pass btw, so definitely give it a shot. Games like this and Wayfinder need some love in order to produce even better sequels.

@@jordanmeyler9239 the recent Xbox event showed otherwise.
Why did you give it a 7 then? The way you describe it, it sounds like a 5 at best.
Yeah. Weird. Talked the game down throughout the entire video, only to give it a high-ish 7? What’s with that…?!
remember they gave Alien Isolation and M&L brothership a 5, and those are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better (yes I played all, im playing this one on gamepas)
Came here to say the same thing
You are a 5 .
@@andresgonzalez887you’re thinking of IGN. Gaming Bolt gave Alien Isolarion a 9.5

after testing the demo the biggest issue the game has is movement and combat. Its not bad but it also feels very clunky and janky

Looks early access TBH...
Awesome Video🔥🔥💯
Sounds like this game needs an “Atlas Fallen Reign of Sand” update a year from now.
Great for a fort game from this company. Nice to see magic actually be magical
The movement looks janky asf
Hard pass
Who's doing the review? Voice sounds so familiar but cant remember 🤔
Sounds like AI every time lol
Reminds me of LGR (Lazygamereviews).
I've been waiting for Eternal Strands a long time and finally I have it! I love how it gives Immortal Fenyx Rising vibes! 🔥🔥
Played it for 20mins on game pass, time wasted...

Bring on Avowed!
There is a compass :)

Thank you for my wallet 😊
I tried the demo. It feels 'floppy'. This is jank 2.0.

The game looks like the gameplay would benefit from the zelda skyward sword switch controls for using your weapons.
A seven....lol for me a 9. One of the best West Fantasy Games.
I hate when you stop running you slide 😂 but its fun im 4 hours in so far

Ninja !
Looks like a fun play
look like fortnite feel like gamcube
Lol people calling it "woke" but afraid to explain why.
First homies.
Dei slop
Thanks, great review, hard pass for me.

This game is boring and clunky, that's why. Probably nothing new in the further stages.
@ Legacy Gaming couldn’t disagree more with you.
So it's boring af
This gamen is boring an clunky. 5/10
Looks very lame and extremely woke. Pass
zelda? not even close shadow of the colossus? maybe
