Absolutely a stunner on roads and weight gives you the plush and stable ride.

Damn good review!! But u shldve done a mileage test nd told the results too, its not lik backlag to the vid but if u cudve done it wudve been even better!!
Way underpowered for rider pillion + luaggage in this price segment. Mojo can do all with class than Himalayan, though different category but worth buying

@@motoroctane The Interceptor(without modifications) and GT 650 ain"t comfortable for covering long distances which involves both good and bad patches of roads. depends on your needs brother. if u want the bike for touring and offroading then Himalayan is the bike to buy. u can use it for everyday use also. Interceptor is a good bike, u can use for day to day use and touring also but definitely not for offroading. both are superb motorcycles. you won't regret buying anyone of them.
BS6 is not an improvement, rather it's a legislative compulsion. BS6 is more environment friendly norm. RE should stop behaving like a typical "sarkari PWD daftar"/ Government Department. RE should listen to its customers and should take feedbacks. Mtlab jab koi gora bolega ki uski tange touch hori hai age tabhi change karoge?
It means sab kuch accha hai To con set ki problem, handle bar pulling problem, battery issue, instrument cluster vibration, spoke wheel in sab ki problem kaun batayega
The simplicity is the beauty of Himalayan. That TFT Craaap you can find on anything. I don't know what's the problem with Indian dudes who can't just appreciate its simplicity. Go get a tiger or GS or some other craap if you want a computer on two wheels
It's the heat altering the colour of the metals and how the exhausts are baffled too, where you get hot spots. This happens on every bike TBH unless very specific (expensive) metals are used or they 'hide' it another way. For example by double skinning the pipes, but that adds weight and cost. Don't worry about it. 👍
I have booked Himalayan of same colour, after getting your review I am excited.

@@prateek786ist For a 5.4, the bike stance is a bit taller. Slim the seat and buying a good riding boot should do the trick.

Xpulse front tyre -21 inch &rear -18 inch, xpulse has bigger rear tyre same as Dakar rally specs.

Well if you can spend on service charges

For highway cruising interceptor 650 is the best option under 3 lakh.
I just need to decide which color. I'm thinking granite. I may paint it camouflage.
1. Power to weight ratio has been dropped in BS-6 version...
2. Quality always remains a issue with RE..
I suppose we can always go with KTM 390 adv..
KTM also has many quality issues. Harder suspension and unreliable electronics.
RE is cheaper. So more ppl can afford it, compared to ktm 390 adv
