  • 212 has been acting funny... what to do? Why clean it of course! Then she bagged for about 2 hours afterwards, and used a bit of oil too. Put some straight 30 back in it, and away I go. It’s a nice machine, just needs the kinks worked out.

You need new throttle shaft bushings and seals. I'm sure that would make a great difference.

Yep. Haven’t messed with the ole girl for a year or so, but I think it has a new carb on it. So that has been eliminated.

Wish they all ran that good after just a carb clean…..cept for them throttle shaft bearings.. damn. Dancy-dance. It shouldn’t labor to throttle up. Mostly smooth.

Whoa! That throttle shaft is a little loose! I don't think I have a single small engine that idles lol! Kohlers are good engines! Nice work! Thanks for the video! You get a new camera? Looks really clear.

burningdinosaurs Yeah, was thinking about getting a kit for it. Had this camera before that pond dam video, and maybe even before.

My JD 210 leaking from bowl also. Done everything as watched, the bigger gasket inside bowl is what i wonder about, and main jet thru carb from bottom inside, what is depth ran into carb. I ran it all the way tight. Runs great but leaks from backside of bowl towards engine. Redoing it today again

More than likely you’re going to need to find a new gasket. That’s usually make or break when you crack them open like that.
