You are at almost 7,000 subscribers. A lot of those viewers are newer. It’s seems your growing faster than before so you may hit 10,000 subscribers sooner than you think. Plus your videos have gotten more polished and fun although they’ve always been a great watch. Your skit/special effect video in California would not be seen on any of the other “full time RV” channels. It was hilarious. As for work, there are a few videos on TH-cam about gate guarding which allows you to make $200 a day if you both do it. There are also some people making good money working for firms that supply the help to big box stores like Costco to pass out samples. One guy in Florida claims to have more work doing that than he can handle. I hate to see you give up on your channel but lack of money is certainly an understandable issue. My wife and I have been pulling for you guys and will miss your channel if you give it up but we will keep watching as long as you are making videos.

Hey you Guys!!! I hope you've batten down the hatches and are safe and warm, well fed and cozy. I know things are getting stressful for you so I have reached out to a very good friend in Texas to keep his eyes and ears open for anything that might appeal to you. My friend is a Former State Trooper and also worked for a town in Texas for many years as a Lieutenant and also as a K9 Officer. He and his lovely Mrs. have an acreage so I thought he would be a good person to enlist to help you if he sees or hears anything. For my part I will also keep eyes and ears open for you two in my very limited capacity. Just a thought, and I know not one that maybe is ideal but right now the Canadian borders are pretty much handing out Canadian Visas and work permits at the border when you come in. The beauty of Canuckistan is you would have health care and other Federal and Provincial social programs to keep your head above water till you find somewhere or something that you like, again just kind of thinking out loud (You could tell them at the Border that your fleeing having to go back to the Armed Forces, right now we have a Liberal government that just eats up pleas like that). I wish I could do more, and I will come the end of the month when I get some cash, so I will send some your way. It's not a lot, but every bit right now will help, and I don't mind helping you kids out!!! I really wish that when I was your age that this TH-cam thing was happening as I would have loved to have had a grand Adventure such as you are having (Yup, even with the worries and sleepless nights). I hope you don't mind my efforts, I'm not trying to step on any toes here, just a genuine wish to help a young charismatic couple that I have grown very fond of over the past few years. If you need anything between now and the end of the month, please let me know and I will do whatever I can to assist you, okay? I hope you still have my contact info as well as my mailing address, but if you don't or it's somewhere not handy let me know and I will send you all that stuff again!! Try not to worry, although I know it's hard not to. My Dad used to have a saying that went something like "Life has a funny way of working itself out, maybe not as you've planned but then that's what life is all about. The World is full of opportunities so that anyone can become successful,...even you." My Dad had a very dry sense of British humour. lol Okay, as usual my Love to all Three of you, stay warm, stay dry and enjoy your Cheesy Chicken Freedom Nuggets and Cyber Punk!!! Take care, talk soon. - Dave

You came up on my watch so your videos are getting out there. I did subscribe and the reason is you both give a real view on living homeless. The pandemic made it easy to travel and work online only if you have the necessary skills and equipment to do so. Now things are different and its back to a 9 to 5 job. This can be a hard reality but those days are no more. Glamorizing on the road to gain subscribers can be a very tough road to make money, I wish you luck!

Just watch your video. One job that is extremely universal is a CDL truck driving jobs. There’s always opportunity to work it on a traveling or local position.
As far as housing we bought land, built a steel building with rv hookups inside. Then we lived inside the building, inside our camper; while we made living quarters in the building (In North Carolina). I took quite a few years to finish, but it was a worthwhile experience. Having a home base is a really nice addition in life.
You guys already know how to budget and when you acquire a good income you’ll do well. I hope whatever direction you choose, you’ll find blessings in it.

CDL is their ticket I think! Both of them! Study real quick and pass the permit then sign up with like Prime or Schneider as team drivers and get the license in like two weeks ( while getting put up in hotels and food vouchers). Boom! Work just long enough to get back on your feet then leave! Also people love trucking content just saying!

Hey, first time watching your video. Few suggestions, look into US Patent office jobs. 90% of their workforce is remote. If you do think about going back to military, I suggest that you enlist in IT fields that could give you skills you can use in remote work after serving. Take the opportunity to build your future if remote off grid is your goal. Go Air Force

I live in my truck camper. What I did is got my CDL driver's license. Moved out of rental and drive for 2 months straight, then take like 5 days off. Get hotel..... I do it for a year. By then I saved a decent amount of money. Just save most all of my pay. Then I take a year or two off when the account gets low I repeat the process. I've been doing this 3 times in the last 10 years. If both of you could drive team it would double!!! I'm talking like thirty plus grand in a year. That would be for each driver I actually save almost forty last 2times.

Hey guys...youbare one of our favorite TH-camrs. So sorry to see that you are struggling for traction.
This may be a ridiculous idea, but have you thought about summering in Alaska? Lots of seasonal jobs up here, and lots of beautiful places to camp, without the scary rifraf that seems so prevalent in the lower48. Hunting, fishing and ATVing opportunities are abundant and many of us fill our freezers with salmon, caribou and moose every year.
Also, there are no state taxes and you can easily find an inexpensive parcel of land if you don't mind looking outside of the cities and towns.
Ideally, you'd come up in April and stay through October. And if you want to become a resident, I believe it only takes 6 months. But you can still register a vehicle without having to wait 6 months (if I understand correctly). Since I'm already a resident t, I haven't actually looked into it, but it wouldn't take much to find out. We also have three major military bases up here, so if you are still looking at that option, it might be good.
Rosie and I plan to travel to the lower 48 via truck camper, for the winter, and return every spring, summer and fall for the outdoor lifestyle and hunting and fishing.
The down side is that it is a long drive to do this every year, and some things cost more up here than down there...but the general price of food and clothing is about the same.
Anyway, it's just a thought. If you want to chat about it, feel free to hit me up on FB or any other way you can think of, and I'll share my phone number with you so you can have a call.

There is a thing you can do is double dip. Reserves and college ROTC. The reserves can pay for college as well as ROTC and you could still do the channel. Not sure if you can live at the marinas on base. Just a thought. The objective of the ROTC Simultaneous Membership Program is to provide more ROTC graduates for the National Guard (NG) (SMP) and Army Reserve (USAR). The SMP Program allows cadets to serve as officers in the National Guard or Reserves while in college.

this is the same stuff my wife and i are trying to figure out as we are going to try the truck-camper life soon. Florida is where we were going to make our residence, but as you said, auto insurance is crazy expensive. i've heard S. Dakota is cheap and easy to make your home state: 1 Obtain a South Dakota mailing address.
2 Receive at least one mail at your South Dakota address.
3 Stay in the state for a day.
    4 Gather your important documents.

I retired from the Army in 2007, spent 29 years in 24 of them in Special Forces. Dont know what the current opportunities for prior service vets are but several friends got out and came back in, longest break in service was 10 years. If you were a 18 series Soldier then the Army should have pretty good bonus to come back in but you would have to start over. Friend who had 10 year break had ETSed as a E7 came back in as E4 but made rank back pretty fast. Not sure I'd come back in but depends on your situation. As far as residence, I've heard lot of full timer rvers had South Dakota registration. Tennessee has no income tax and no vehicle inspections. We moved to Tn after retiring out of Ft Bragg, I never had to get my emmissions test for my diesel truck (2007 Dodge Ram) in NC but the annual inspection was a hassle. None of that is required in the great state of Tennessee.

My ideas are probably in the books but here goes.
-Collaborate with like minded TH-camrs. I’ll bet money thousands of potential, organic subs don’t know you exist.
-concentrate on seo and key words for the channel.
-Definitely work camp until you’ve figured out the ultimate direction
-continue resisting the enlisted idea. Advantageous yes but it’s not you.
Basically continue doing the uncomfortable until you’ve found direction. Continue growing your skill sets in the practical/uncomfortable until direction is found.
I’m pretty sure signing your life away will sour and result in and show up in damaging ways to you both.
Continue seeking. Continue TH-cam. Grow/nurture the successful elements. Discard unsuccessful elements.

Nebraska and Wyoming would be great states to register in. No emissions what so ever

I watched your latest video and always enjoy your content. I recently watched a TH-cam channel called Open Roading. It's about a couple working fairly high paying workamping jobs like gate guarding. You might get some ideas from them. Good luck.

Have you thought about becoming a firefighter, either structural or wildland. I retired as a firefighter/paramedic from a city just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Most departments in the south work 24 hrs. on and 48 hrs. off. We earned generous vacation and sick time with good health benefits and retirement after 25 years. You could buy your military time and reduce that retirement down by the number of years you buy back. Also we got what's called a Kelly Day every nine shifts. Basically every ninth shift you would get a whole 24 hr. shift off that did not count against your vacation time. That gives you five days off, back that up with a 24 vacation that gives you ten days off and so on. If you like to travel a firefighter position is not a bad way to go because after a year or two you earn a good amount of vacation and possibly overtime that you can start using at your discretion. My wife and I were able to take a lot of trips to the beach when our kids were little and I also got to do a lot of hunting and fishing. Just a thought, sorry for the long response and good luck to you which ever route you choose.

Your might want to check into the "Good Sam Club". More importantly find RV ers and ask about what state is best for them. Last I heard, Oregon. or Washington was a good place to register the vehicles. But that was many years ago. What happened to the boat and tow car? Jerry D. in S.E. Pa.

Bob Wells from cheap RV living does have videos covering jobs for nomads and the property issues. there are some good jobs in northern MN specifically for the nomad lifestyle.

Good money if he's hands on with electrical / mechanical. Jobs all across the country with short term contracts. The best part is they pay per diem as well.
So it's easy to live on per diem and save the paychecks. Make enough and bounce!
Skillwork is one of those companies.

You guys are my favorite videos like this hope the you tube thing does pick up. California is amazing place to live but the taxes and registration and smog and all that bs. Definitely cost ya to live in Cali. Oregon and Nevada I'm pretty sure are chill on the state taxes and emissions.

Do you have any hands on mechanical or electrical skills? You can still travel and get paid. Plus the per diem to take care of your housing and food.

Oregon license for our ExpeditionVehicle -- us$87 for two years.
I heard about inspections in Medford and pornland, but that would be the rarity in this beautiful land of more elk than humans.
      .
Couldn't say about your taxes, nobody I know participates in that scam.
      .
      Downside:
      * all the goofy dope-fiends.
      Upside to that:
      * substantial and frequent attrition.
      Upside to that upside:
      * watching goofballs employ standardized resuscitation techniques on their slacker acquaintances -- kicking, rifling through pockets.

What about staying around quartzite, but work in blythe, California minimum wage is $20/hr. You could do that to supplement your income. But first register your vehicles in South Dakota. Although, if you want to go back in the Corps, that's good too.
