- Hello Guys, we are back with yet another most requested Unboxing. This time we have TP-Link XZ000-G7 which is a 1 port Gigabit XPON Terminal. We will be installing it in our home network along with showcasing how to set it up.

Hello bro, MAC binding ke liye aapko apne local BSNL office se contact krna hi pdega, jahan se aapne connection liya tha. Khud se nahi kr skte.

I'm assuming ki aapke ghar me voh white box hai jisme patch cord lggate hain install krne ke time, bahar se aate fiber ko splice krke.

Iska blue end apne fiber vaale white box me lgao, aur green vaala apne iss vaale device me, toh hopefully ho jayega kaam.
@@geekytwinsdevice laa kar usme green wali connector laga toh di hai par ab 192.168.1.1 open hi nahi ho raha hai. Device par teeno lighte green hi hai ji. Bada confusing hai iska setup 😅

Now, aapko pehle IPv4 settings ko badalna pdega static IP me, jaise video me dikhaya gya hai.
Jab aap IP address aur subnet aur gateway waali setting krdoge apne ethernet adapter me, tab aapka Web GUI at 192.168.1.1 khul jaana chahiye.
Agar nahi khulta toh we can troubleshoot.
BTW kitne din me aa gya samaan ubiquiti ki site se?
Bro does it work well with tp link archer ax53 router.i asked my isp he replied,tp link is compatible with the olt. If any better suggestion plzz add on.

Sir, this is the most reliable and the most economical option at the moment. Go for it, without any hesitation, if you've already checked with your ISP.
And yes, it works flawlessly with Archer AX53.

@noor786kach, I suggest using CAT6 or higher only if you want to futureproof your network. Otherwise CAT5e is just fine for speeds of upto 1Gbps for runs below 100 metres.

Hello brother, yes, since this happens to be an XPON terminal, so this can be configured in EPON mode as well, though you'll have to do some research and find the exact method to achieve that.

I assume that the fiber from the pole comes to your house and gets terminated in a white box where splicing is done and there's a blue SC UPC connector in it.
Buy this cable: store-ui.in/products/ufiber-patchcord-upc-apc
Insert the blue end (APC) of this cable in the white box and green end(UPC) in the XPON terminal and you should be good to go.

I think you'll have to call customer care and ask them to flush the mac addresses. If asked for reason, just tell them you got a new router.
@user-mz4hw1wi6m No LAN link? You have to keep your router connected to the LAN port. If despite that the LAN link goes down, then your terminal might be defective. Please check if this happens with your computer connected to the terminal as well.

Hello from India, glad you like our content!
You can most likely find the GPON SN and password in the WebGUI of your ONU. If not, you can get in touch with your local ISP technician, he'll be able to provide it to you.
And yes, at least GPON SN is necessary to setup the XPON terminal. Whether password would be used or not, depends upon your ISP.
Also, TP-Link Archer AXE75 seems like quite a nice router, I'd say.

Yes, it should work with that too! Just check if your ISP uses MAC Binding. If so, just clone your existing ONT's WAN MAC to your new router, after cloning the GPON SN in this device.

I am using the TP-Link XPON XC220-G3v, but after entering all the GPON SN and password from my ZTE F601 ONT, it registers for 5 seconds, and then the GPON registration process starts again. PON light also start blinking get stable for 5 sec and again start blinking.

How to setup with pppoe UID and PW given by ISP
Hi, to dial PPPoE connection, you first have to set the correct VLAN ID in your computer or router, whatever you are using, then you have to use the credentials given by ISP to connect to the internet by selecting connection type as PPPoE and entering the credentials.
Make sure you keep this GPON terminal in transparent mode.
Yes, yesterday I tried the same i.e. by setting VLAN ID.

Bilkul ho jayega, bas aapko USB type C to Ethernet dongle leni hogi, agar aapke phone me type C port hai toh.
Fir aapko phone ki ethernet settings me static IP vaali setting krni hogi aur ONT ka web UI me jaa kr GPON SN vgera edit kr skte.

@@geekytwins Thanks for the reply. Setup was easy, only thing is i had to call to BSNL to reset MAC binding to the new device. I was trying to establish connection without asking to reset Max binding.

A. In the VLAN settings of the new ONU, you have to set it to Transparent Mode and you have to set the correct VLAN ID for internet (100) in your router, before dialling PPPoE.

A. Yes, using username and password.

The terminal is APC, which is green in color.
which is best G7 or G3
Only get a G3 v1 agar aapka Airtel ka OLT ALCL ka hai, otherwise even G7 will work.
For JioFiber, only G3 v1 would work without any issues, G7 doesn't work at all while G3 v2 has issues.
Overall, all are best in their use cases!

Hey Sourabh, if your ISP is using EPON, this terminal should detect it and automatically change to EPON mode.

Hey everyone, figured it out long back forgot to update here,
1. Go to modem admin page- set VLAN to tag mode and enter your vlan provided by ISP and set priority to 1.
2.Connect the modem to a lan cable and to a router of your choice, Setup the router from scratch or change authentication to ppoe mode and enter your bsnl username and password there. it will work. :)
