Get the maker it handles everything that the explorer air don’t ! And it has the knife blade but if ur doing shirts you could really just buy the joy and start there ( but later you’ll want to upgrade , not because it don’t work because it works very very well ,but just because ) now there’s a Maker 3 out so your choice not limited that’s for sure

hI . I have try using faux leather but however the deboss is dont not appear. may advise
Maybe try increasing the pressure. Here's some info on Cricut's site - help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009505253-Cricut-machine-does-not-cut-through-my-material

I've tried this on faux leather and was not happy with the impression even using more pressure. The image showed better on the reverse side of the leather. However, I will not be deterred and will try it again.
Hi - it’s been a while since I’ve done this so I think I’ll make another video and see if I get the same results. If so, I’ll get specific details on how I do it. Stay tuned.
@@FamilyUnit Just want you to know that I tried this again and finally have success! The trick is to duplicate the image so the Cricut will deboss twice. Thanks again! I told you I would not be deterred and it finally worked.

How do you get the ring on? I haven't tried this yet but want to.
Use a couple needle nose pliers. Pretty easy and the finished product looks great!
What did you use to glue the two sides together?
E6000. Works great!
I love this tutorial but I am a little confused. It says load the fine point blade but isn't the black one the deep cut blade?
You are correct, but I find the deep cut blade works better for me with leather.

I followed your tutorial with a brand new debossing tool and it did not turn out like yours 😔my tool drug all over the project making messy lines and barely any pressure...What am I doing wrong? I have tried four different tutorials now and I can't seem to get my cricut maker to deboss faux leather at all
I watched other videos and they were using the engraving tool that made deeper clean lines. I can’t remember what video but look up engraving leather with Cricut :)

have you used real leather ? and if so how well does it turn out
I haven't tried that yet but may in the near future.
in my experience, engraving genuine leather shows up better than debossing.
