First I tell its not Lungi. Lungi is designed checked color and Lungi only casual wear. This is Vesti/Dhothi (or) vetti. It only pure white and very very traditional male dress for wear functions/festivals in Tamill (Some time some peoples some Tamill south rural places this use casual wear).
Lungi and Vesti/Dhothi (or) vetti not same. It's different.
