I was kinda bummed that they confirmed no hotels, especially with the resort theme and pools. But this game already has an overhaul of improvements. Im pretty sure they'll just add them in a future update anyway.
Im hoping for another gameplay reveal as some things were missing. Weather, tracked rides, restaurants, economy (salaries / ticket prices / shops), fast pass, etc.. I think this was a perfect beginning to start, as most people are interested in what was shown. Customization, coasters, and pools
@LeeDanielAying yeah, that was quoted from one of the devs when talking about the hotel "facades" that were in the demo. But more likely, it'll come in a later update or hopefully the devs were just lying. So far, it doesn't seem like restaurants or souvenir shops are in the game either like in planet zoo. I do feel like hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops are almost, if not more important, to theme parks as roller coasters. They are also large chucks of revenue for theme/amusement parks small and large.
Although they didn't show as much as we probably wanted, what they did show opens up an incredible expansion of customisation features. The ability to create seemingly endless variations of train mods to look like real coaster trains or your very own unique ones is a great addition. I also loved the flexible layouts to the paths and pools. Far better than being stuck in to a grid. And stairs. I just realized the names of the coaster and its manufacturer. So Valais & Nidwalden is basically B&M. They are based in the Canton "Valais" in Switzerland. Nidwalden is also a Canton 😁 Kinda cool easter egg
As others have mentioned already mentioned, Valais & Nidwalden is B&M meaning that the flying coaster is most definitely not a Vekoma flyer. So either that name that was seen was the blueprint name, or the coasters are not listed with their model names for some reason. Because i don't hope that they would just give some coasters to that are made by one manufacturer IRL to a different one in game, Like Vekoma suddenly makes B&M wing coasters. I just don't think that will happen. But yeah no clue why the names were different but the coaster that was placed was a B&M flyer and the one in the menu should be a B&M too so yeah......
@@CorvusCoasters I mean, while that one Flying coaster wasn't a Vekoma I hope that it will come at some point. I mean, it would such a missed opportunity to NOT add it.
When I first saw waterslides in the trailer I was excited, but when I saw this deep dive and live stream, I got really excited, I think one of my favorite parts of this game will be making coasters and slides that intertwine with eachother, going to push my creativity to a whole new level with this game 💯
It looks so good! I heard that there is gonna be no hotels in PC2. So hopefully it gets added in a expansion pack. and PLEASE tell me that you can open coasters without testing them! (btw, great video)
I believe the inverted flying coaster will be the b&m flying coaster similar to that of tatsu! I say this because clearly floorless and surf coaster are “V & M” basically their take on B&M.
Being honest? Planet zoo looks better still. This looks like pc 1 with an included dlc water park pack. I was expecting better train rides and much higher quality. Only a month away from launch? Uhg. Hope there are better things to come. Planet coaster is a hard title to sequel. They did an amazing job imho. Planet Zoo gave us a great part 2. Was hoping Planet coaster 2 was the marriage and expansion of the two together. Ah well.

As long as it has every ride, scenery piece, coaster, path/textures etc. as the first game AND they add more, expand features etc. I'll be happy. If this is only a marginal quality of life improvements, with a couple new things, downgraded to vanilla PC1, I'll be pissed. So tired of company's doing that. Making their sequels based off the vanilla prequel, instead of the full game with all DLC that EVERYONE has at this point. I'm really, really worried about how limited the scenery themes sound. Like 4... of them? 5? That's terrible.
I doubt it will have everything from the first game as this is a new and different game, but certainly a lot of remastered items from pc1 in pc2. There are loads of things still to be announced about the game, its too early to say. Remember Planet Coaster 1 only launched with around the same. Just wait for the full game and DLCs to be announced, then we can make up our opinions fully :)
@@CorvusCoasters Yeah, I find that unacceptable for a sequel. You can't launch barely above the vanilla of the previous game. That's not a sequel but a lazy re-release just modernized. Haven't had a single strategy game sequel in almost a decade not disappoint and do this downgrading. Paradox does this BS. Creative Assembly too. Sells you hundreds in DLC features. Then reverts all those features right back out for the sequel to sell them back to you all over again. Doubtful to 0% chance. They already announced what themes are in the base game. They aren't going to include that much content from the start. They want you to buy DLCs, it's a business after all.
Strange how with all the improvements the game still looks dreadful when the camera is in shadowed areas. It looks terrible.
