    According to the local Kubota Dealer and the manual the bolt is 1 1/8" thread and the socket required is 1 11/16"
    I tried a 1 1/16'' and it wasn't even close. Great video!

      You are completely correct. It is 1-11/16.

    Getting ready to change my blades out for the first time. I have similar damage to my blades caused by most of the same issues that you had. Thanks for the info - Just what I needed.
    GREAT video by the way!

    There is a zerk fitting on the axle of the tail wheel also. Good job on the blades.

      I’m very glad it was helpful. That’s the entire point of the videos. I know there are a lot of people looking for this type of information so I thought I’d do my best to put as much of it in one place as I do it to aid people in what may work for them also.

    Nice video. I have the slasher one size below and this is very helpful.
    One other suggestion with the grease points, there is also a 4th grease nipple on the tail wheel axle shaft, however as I stated earlier I have a slightly different model than yours so I might be wrong.

      Thanks for the comment. The instructions I have with the machine say there are only 3. I’m sure different machines have differing grease points though.

      @@catjuggler333 I have one there as well. In the video you will see me grease that one last. There are 3 in total on this unit. Maybe different year models are set up a bit differently when it comes to their locations.. thanks for the comment and the interest in the video.

    Thanks for the video. I have the RCR1872 but seems pretty much the same. May I ask the best way to lift the cutter and get it onto the jack stands?

    • @bmcallister4539
      @bmcallister4539 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I used a floor jack to set the first two jack stands and then alternated to the opposite side. I just kept repeating this and adjusting the jack stands until they were maxed out in height but still able to be pinned in place so they were locked correctly. I just reversed the process to lower it.

      I should have said Foot Pounds but I wasn’t about to redo an entire video to fix something most people realize was a slip of words.
