Now I know how Marie's nose got booped. Not my jam, but I can appreciate the purity of a sportsman and the fun of building it and seeing just how far it can be pushed. You're gonna have to find all new lines to challenge this thing.
Sportsman my favorite. Built for nothing but performance On a wrcca group the fs stuff like this got crapped on by tons of dlux, etc guys with 1500-2000 dollar rigs that this carrier bearing style only good for breakover. It crazy sidehill sand all round driving… This looked great here!
Thank you Mr.c for the klerms. I ordered the white injora steel wheels(not the deeps)and Injora blues. The rims are 116g each, the inserts 70g each, and the tires are 100g each! It will be a little over 1400g! Almost 1.5 kilo of wheelos!!! It will be so different going from stock ascent tires to this combo.
Meus Capra axles have Double kardan Drive axles. Technically a great advantage. Overall i Like the Rhinos more. Very nice geometrie to put servo and lipo on the axles. Fimonda overs a Double cvd Upgrade for offset Capra axles. Update follows.
@@michaellanghirt1990Hi Michael, thank you for taking the time to offer your personal opinion on the axles. Unfortunately this isn't my question. I would like to see for myself the differences in a comparison video, stub axle size and quality, casting quality, machining quality, as they say a picture speaks a thousand words, knowing Mr. C has both sets, I was hoping he might get some time in his crazy video/life schedule to do a comparison. 😊
no yue experience specifically, wouldnt need to gear lower... he is in a common overall gear range for shaftys in this weight range. Maybe pinion change a tooth or two if you can, underdrive makes sense. ice skating is too firm foams for his weight on this tire. seems firm front, foams, and springing, geo in the front is doing some interesting things, maybe underdrive would keep it flatter overall. Good first run, now fun part of tuning.
i have 1 of these and i love it. i ended up going with the dlux capra weight hangars and the loaded dice wheels and a good set of pins and man does it make a huge difference!!! you should try it out it puts the gravity right to the ground.
I am impressed. Never thought you would open us the Rhino-world via the Yue One. There could have been a more typical approach with the Rhino Sporty and a heavenly fitting Lilly-Body. Stay progressiv... Thank you
That Lilly body is constantly battling new contenders for Worst Looking Body... in the World. A buddy of mine claims that the Lattice Mojo is the ugliest body out there, but I disagree. The ProLine Strike Force is the current holder, followed closely by the Utron, then the Lilly. It's like... the ultimate realization of the Power Wagon, from the darkest timeline.
I have been fascinated by this style of crawler but when I started to go down that rabbit hole my wallet quickly grabbed my ankle and pulled me out. Most decent "budget" setups were north of $1500. This might be the gateway drug we needed lol.
Same, my friend. I'm not about spending $1000 on a pair of axles. At 600, including shocks, motor, servo, and ESC, this thing is kind of a steal. The motor/ESC combo alone on AE is about $120. If they sold this thing as a bare kit, it would be about $399. Which is crazy, seeing what $399 now gets us from "big" brands.
? For mr canyon. Are aliExpress esc and brushless sets actually the same as other places? I.e. fusion pro and rhino VE80a / rm-s20? I dug my bomber and Scx10 out of storage after 9y. Been having fun with them for a couple months and I’ve been wanting to get brushless into them. now everything is so much more accessible with Amazon and Ali. Love the Chanel btw.
When knowing how to drive them, these rigs are awesome capable rigs ! Beside the looks, I would not enjoy driving them. Why : as long the tires have grip, challenging lines are so rare, so its like either it can definatly do the line or it is t not possible. My opinion, sorry!
Not sure if i understand. You want to challenge yourself by running a less capable rig ? And then put time and money into that to tune it, but only a little bit ?
This one was about $600, requiring just wheels/tires and a radio. There is a $700 "version" that comes with wheels and tires, but I already had these on hand. I also have no idea what the included tires even are-- they're almost certainly not the newly-released RhinoRC tires.
A bit of a false economy with that one, as you get nothing but links and rails-- and the rear links aren't useful. For another 20 bucks you can get the actual Rhino rails + links on Amazon, and the links are titanium. Still nowhere near as good a deal as the Rhino Yue "kit" on AE, as buying a la carte the final build will cost about 60% more.

Extremely interested to see where you go with this one. Had my eye on one, just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. 😎
Aaaaaaahhhhhh bueno!! Been looking forward to the Yue One for a minute now! 🤙🙌
Hello. Happy Sunday canyoneros
I picked up one of these chassis kits to use with the Ridgerock moa axles. Can't wait to get it all together.

Good afternoon folks
Appreciate the insight on the Rhino.

I hope you will put some time into this...let's see where it gets...until now it runs not as a sporty could😏
Are you going to build one of the new meus lcg chassis with the gold flake carbon fiber?
Hi, it would be great to get a full technical dis-assembly of these axles, these and the Meus versions, really not sure which is the better option.

Great Idea. That comparison, Made by Mr C, would BE very nice.

I’ve been wondering if this was worth grabbing for the last year…. Any plans on testing the new Rhino comp tires…

Wee! I driving my Yue One in The Canyon vicariously!
From the side it almost looks like a dog doing the proverbial “downward dog” pose 😂
I would love to see this individual take a run at Mavericks. Perhaps exceptions can be made?

Evening!
morning gents😊
Howdy!
Looks good, I think I'd like one, but will consider a little longer...
00:33 hand of God!
We allow it due to the no-traction surface.

I recently bought a used Rhino sporty. almost have it complete itching to take it out.
Haha I'll never get one of these! It would ruin the rest for me I just know it😂 same for the scx6 if I got one I'd need more lol
Did you use the syringe Forty Shock oil
+How good do you want it to be?
-Yes
Are there different color hats?
There are.
Hello-I have acquired one of these and am a bit lost-are we able to set up a private dialogue…?
You can find the link to the Discord in the channel description, or find me @crawlercanyon on Instagram.
This guy needs some 3d printed inserts
It needs some kind of inserts. The Pitbulls in there now are definitely over-firm.

There is a Amazon clone of that chassis. Its $59.99

looks more robot than rc car

I put a light weight body on mine and I’m absolutely loving it. The weird look was the only part I didn’t love.
What weird look ? I found it because its the only 1/10 that looks cool apart from 2-3 K Dluxfab or Exo.
Build one is the worst crawler kit on earth, bad design and enormous torque twist,,sold it right away🙁
Aside from an inscrutable build "manual," I've had no issues with mine whatsoever.
