Great stuff!!! Nice to finally be able to see Pan play live like that. Added this clip to the Pan fan site a couple months ago, and appreciate you adding it here for me to do so. Meant to add such comments here a while ago, but it slipped my mind. The Pan fan site is going great, thanks to both your continued generous assistance and everyone else such as, Arne, Thomas, Michael, Henning, Jens, and now Teit. Thank you guys so much for such kind help in improving the site with every new update.
I listed the information in the top right text box, but admittedly in Danish. The program was 'Dansk rockhistorie' by Claus Hagen Pedersen. Taped of TV in 1985. The original shows were aired back in 1970 and have never been rebroadcast. For more detail, please write me.
Luv this stuff. Luv to see those Fender Bandmaster heads. :) In the early 1970 we had some gigs recorded on a new media called "video" (black & white, reel to reel tape). Too bad it didn't survive. :(
@TheCymbalineSound (Danish scene, erhm). They were stars at a local scale but were unable to move to a global scale. Despite several attempts. Young Flowers was on a short tour in Canada and USA. Day of Phoenix had both lps released in the UK, Savage Rose had some awesome reviews in Rolling Stone, etc.
"This is as short as it gets: Danish beat is the worlds best, wrote Carsten Grolin in the Ekstra Bladet newspaper Jan the 13th 1969. Here is the proof in 3 minutes with some of the best from back then: Young Flowers, Day of the Phoenix, Robert Lelievre's Pan with a young Niels Skousen wandering around to the left, and lastly Delta Blues Band. This clip with worldclass Danish rock is from Claus Hagen Pedersen's program on Danish rockhistory from 85." Sorry the last sentence doesn't fit the limit!
@@alrunens Hvis man lytter til teksten er det samme tekst som i starten af "So We Meet Again" fra The Neighbour's Son ("I've got no time to talk to you, my friend - the time has passed when we could talk without restraint").
@@rasmusdahlmusic TAK for dit svar.
Guitarist i Mulerne.
Great sound! Pretty much like the finnish prog sound, and I suppose it had the same problems with making it to global renown, marketing skills and proper managers were missing.. And maybe the world rather listend to the british and american music at the time than some freaky scandinavian prog sound.. Shame!
last one: great blues guitarist .. WOW,his SOUND !!!

Love from one that grew up during this epoque in Sweden!

Pan deluxe

The guitarist was Thomas Puggård-Møller, who's also playing in the Pan clip.
very very good.........................................................
1:28 is that the band Pan ?? Lady of the Sand Pan ??
Seedy Jeezus exactly. I have another very short video with them in my profile here
FUCKING AWESOME.!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOooooo
Thanks for sharing man
They are "Young Flowers"; their two albums were Blomsterpistolen and No. 2.
The chords are from From a Tree, but it doesn't sound like it does on the "On the Air" album.
Does that Pan clip exist in full? Been repeating it for an hour now.

Pan rules. I haven't heard of Young Flowers before this, but I will definately be checking them out too.

Both of the bands you mentioned are just amazing.
Love Elonkorjuu's heavy sounds, they should make them national heroes.

Sangen er faktisk “Kragerne vender” skønt nummer
Never heard of this group before. I really like Day of Phoenix
thank you so much for the info.
Hvilken Day of Phoenix sang er det?

1:24 What a theme?
Паша Ященко pan: from a tree i think
@TheCymbalineSound
They were from Denmark,not Holland.
Does anyone know the name of the first song.
Det gør jeg! Jeg var guitaristen Carsten Nielsen. Nu hedder jeg Tubas Løkkegaard
Love this old shit! Lets have some more please...:-)
excelente!!! *****
Danish Prog sounds really different. Are these bands still around?
Med bl.a. Palle Petersen,Karsten Nielsen?,Per Stenberg.

I think..... it is called "From a Tree".
There were so many great prog rock bands in the nordic countries. So sad they're forgotten nowadays ;(
Check out Wigwam and Elonkorjuu from Finland ;)
sounds like red hot chili peppers..... for reall.... so cooll
Made in Denmark Wow !
Enigma
@MLGxSLasH search for Young Flowers Århus and pick the third song...amazong solo
Herligt. Men mon ikke trods alt Day of Phoenix var de allerstørste
mere !

Also id like to mention Made in Sweden in addition.
haha that'l be a dutch band my friend ;)
band name please
there are four, Young Flowers, Day of Phoenix, Pan and Delta Blues band (b/w).
Hagen-Petersen!
det hedder from a tree. så vidt jeg husker.
deep purple influence
Not really..some of them do occational shows with whatever members are still alive..but rarely - to bad huh?

massafínt stöff !
Lol
None of this is good.
