I tried this method & it DOESN'T!!! WORK on my phone. 😠😠😠😠😠😠. I CAN'T even receive any pictures either from anyone ESPECIALLY!!! from my G.F's phone & she has the same make & model.
It was not exactly the same procedure on my Android 4.2.2 phone. I tapped on the picture in Gallery and then had to click on the share icon, from there it was pretty straight forward, but thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Pictures in the gallery when tapped become enlarged, that's all, there is nothing to tap in the bottom of the screen. I have an Android, and watching videos about "how to" always tell me absolutely nothing.

I recently upgraded from an ancient android 2.1 to a snazzy new android 4.4. For the life of me, I could not find a way to send an image with a txt msg (aka mms). The camera app just *doesn't have a send option*. Left me scratching my head. What' worse, everywhere I looked online it took the fact that I should know how to send an MMS for granted. No where were there instructions on just HOW TO DO IT. Frustrating as hell. Finally found your video and realized I had to use the gallery app. FINALLY. THANKS!
