- Sometimes I like to go on Reddit to the identifythisfont sub and look for pieces that I find interesting, but that aren't actual fonts. They usually have one or 2 comments of a mod saying "That's not a font."
But it could be…
So, for practice I'll try to build out a complete alphabet from the piece of lettering. If I'm feeling particularly spicy, I'll turn it into an OTF file that you can download. Then I'll reply to the post with a link to download the font. I've done it less than a handful of times, but it's good practice and it's fun.
This one (I believe) is from a Dutch War Memorial, feel free to correct me. I like the crustiness of the texture created by the stone, so I ran with that instead of trying to produce a cleaned up version.
