You can’t look for your self worth in another person. “I’m scared if I tell you the truth, you will leave.” Is never acceptable. You don’t do, or do things, to keep a person. And that is too much pressure to put on another person. Love yourself, be yourself, do things to make you happy. And then, once you have that self love, you can bring another person in.

From what I remember, and this was a while ago that I saw this, But before they got married she assured him that she could take care of them while he got his work visa and looked for a job after he moved to the US. BUT, she didnt have the money to start the application for his work Visa and kept lying to him about the paperwork taking a long time, then the utilities started getting shut off and that is when he decided to leave because he found out she was lying to him about the finances.
