Starting off with the international toy hunt. I like it. Congrats again my man. Im passing on all of Haul a thon. Sticking to Joe's and now action force. I have to tell you. My wife bought me a vintage cobra night raven for Valentines day. Checking out a new vintage store she went to pay for her stuff and wait in the car while the kids and I browsed. When we went to the counter the owner was like "she's a keeper" when he handed it to me. Technically I paid for it but she knows I'd never buy it myself. 😄

congrats on the wedded bliss! but I do agree with you on reasons for starting channels. Looking for like minded people in the area or even nation wide. Same reason I started mine, and start joining a few local groups on the socials. So far so good, met some pretty cool peoples. The community can be toxic, but if you find the right group, it can be downright fun! Keep up the fun hunts!

This community is like anything else in life. Does it have bad and toxic people in it? Absolutely. Does it mean that the community is bad? No way. We have a choice on who and what we focus on in life. There are plenty more good people than bad in this toy community IMHO and at the end of the day, I choose to focus my energy on the people that matter. It’s as simple as that.

Sentry glad to see you back man!👊 I was just at Target this past weekend and saw that He man there were 3 and I passed for the moment as usually Masterverse goes on clearance so I play long game on them but still no less your stores usually have some great stock! Trying to find Neca Elder Predator and Last of Us! Could not agree more about the great interactions and people in the community it's always great to find good,kind like minded people 👍🍻

Great vid as always man. Been a slow collecting year for me so far. I’ve been thinking about getting out of figures all together. Statues, vehicles and Hot Toys have been my interest lately. All the figures it’s starting to feel like too much. Maybe it’s my changing feelings about some of the franchises becoming so politicized. Star Wars, DC and Marvel just aren’t exciting anymore. I still really like GI Joe though. I might just sell my collections to a local guy even if I lose a bunch of money. Its still fun to find new stuff out on the hunt though.

I hear you completely. I actually moved away from statues - that hobby, IMHO, since being popularized the past handful of years has moved in a direction I just don’t care for. Prices are just as absurd there, too. Hot Toys same thing price wise. That said, from a volume perspective, both of those collectible avenues are much more manageable than keeping up with toys. I preach it all the time in this hobby - don’t try and keep up and set your boundaries or else this hobby will eat you up and spit you out. I’m no longer interested in the lines and properties you’ve mentioned as well. I’m focusing on vintage which has always been my one true collecting love. For modern, it’s really just MOTU & Mythic Legions.

@@SentriTMC I’ve always been into statues. I’m very particular about the Hot Toys I purchase. Ironman and other Power Armor, Venom, Deadpool etc. I do own 4 Star Wars as well but they’re worth it. Deathstroke is maybe my favorite Hot Toy I own but it’s the only DC I own. Covid really twisted things up for pricing and availability for sure
@@sputnikalgrim i was in love with statue collecting for 10-12 years. Just fell out of it a bit the past 6-8 months. Full force vintage for me. Completely hear you on all of it though buddy. Always important to know what you like and know what you don’t like
I keep hearing about this "haulathon" thing but I haven't paid any attention. Nothing I want in the stores anyway. I only collect Masterverse and that's pretty much online only now. I just ordered Sorceress, Man-E-Faces, Pig-Head & Sun-Man from BBTS.
I’m pretty much just motu as well. I enjoy seeing what’s in stores and there is usually something for me one way or another. Masterverse is in stores as of now but origins……
