Really interesting idea. I wonder how they adjust the moisture level of the stored grain in the cars? I assume they would have to receive it already dried to a specified moisture level before storing it in the rail cars? I wonder how the control the quality. Certainly takes away storage capacity concerns assuming you have enough rail cars you can use. I wonder if they own the storage cars, or have to pay the daily per diem fees to use them in this fashion.
Hi. good job guys. I would profit of your experience to ask if you can tell me what plastic material are you using on the unloading bellow i do see (the black telescopic bellow). Many thanks. Cheers from Italy!
Very interesting how technology has helped you run a very efficient operation. I like the idea of having the car storage and knowing exacting the grade of the grain in each car. How hard is it to blend the grains, in the storage cars, to get as close to grade 1 grain in each car that you load for outbound shipments?
very efficient and precise computer controlled loading units yet at 5:08 the car is overfilled... haha no getting around it i guess
But what if I don't like lentils?
Also, interesting stockings at 4:40.
