  • Abstract: Through the course of lockdown, I have been developing a playstation one emulator in C/C++. In this talk I would like to talk about why someone might want to develop such an emulator, how one would start, why they would want to do it in C/C++ etc. Half history lesson, half tutorial.

    Perfect timing as a couple of Zelda games from the N64 are beautifully recompiled and their recomp specs are a feast for the technical eye

    a really good talk, i'll have to rewatch it to make sure i didn't miss something. if you do something for OS emulation, to allow exe or x86 or arm migration from one platform to another, i'd be pretty interested.
    what do you think about reverse compling from op code and assembly towards C?
