    “Personally I don’t live life on the edge like that…” 🤣🤣🤣 I know right, once I’m down to a 20 diapers I reorder, immediately!

      I find it would add unnecessary stress if I waited for diapers to get that low. 😂

    Sweet review. To the point. I do like that the dypers have an expiration date... I would also like the pockets bc if I wait a bit after baby poops, there's sometimes leaks at her back. Sample: she seems to enjoy poop mid breastfeeding... if it's a lot, and dyper is not very dry... I expect the back to leak, from a bit to it made a line on her onsie.
    Dypers do take a beating. I once messed up and didn't change her for 7 hours. The diaper soaked it all up, until she pooped (a lot) at the last stretched and she had a blowout. No rash. Her discomfort was at the end.

    I love DYPER! They’re the softest diapers ever. I love that you can send back to compost as well!

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed they're amazingly soft!

    Have you tried parasol or pura from Walmart? Wonder ing your thoughts. Also what diapers did you end up going with?

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's been awhile since I've tried Parasol, but I did remember liking it. Ultimately though price won out in the end and we started buying Costco brand ones. Not my favorite, but good enough for the price.

    Before your son was fully potty trained. What pull-up or disposable training pant or night time diaper did you use?

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  ปีที่แล้ว

      We just used Costco diapers until we started potty training. Once we started we didn’t have him wear any diapers even at night. During the process he didn’t have any accidents. We had waterproof bed linings just in case. Later on I noticed that on nights where he drank alot of liquids less than 2 hours before bed the chances of an accident happening goes up.

    I've tried Dyper (almost done with the pack o bought) and they're good, except for the fact that they aren't dry once they absorb the pee. My son gets fussier more quickly because he can feel the moisture and it's the only time I've seen him get upset from peeing in a diaper. I usually use Honest (I've been brand hopping and keep going back to Honest), but I get tempted to try other brands when they pop up in my Facebook ads. I would also like to see a review of the Believe Diapers and the Happy Little Campers brand by Hilary Duff.

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I did notice that the diaper itself isn't as dry after peeing which for younger children is bad, but I can see this helping a toddler learn to potty train. Usually they say that since diapers are so good at absorbing pee and feeling dry toddlers never care to learn.
      I'll need to take a look at the Believe and Happy Little Campers as I haven't done too much research on those brands yet.

      I tried Belive. I got a sample from them at the Prego Expo. -- I think you can request a sample.
      Not as soft as Dyper... I was surprised how much they could soak even though they seem so light (like paper).
      I hop between Coterie and Dyper (they had a huge sale).

    But how's the diaper bag?

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Overall a pretty good bag. I like the longer hangers as it allows me to hang the diaper bag and easily access the pockets. Only real negative is that the straps adjust too easily so I accidentally change it every now and then.

    We went the cloth diaper route and never looked back. Tried pampers for the first two months and I was constantly stressed out that we were running out of diapers and by the growing pile of soiled diapers, from an environmental perspective.

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never tried the cloth diapers. Good is the cleaning process on them when baby goes number 2? For my son it might not be as bad but newborn I’m going through a 10+ diapers a day. That seems like quite a bit of laundry.

    • @Kalolelo
      @Kalolelo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevin-lu when they’re small they use more diapers but I was able to do laundry every week with my son, it was harder as he grew up or when I was potty training him because he used less. I think cloth diapers are sooo easy once you get a good washing routine and get the hang of it but it takes a bit to get there. I’m expecting my second and I can’t wait to use them again!

    I used these and they leaked like crazy. You'd have to mail back the used diapers for them to be properly recycled.

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's quite odd I don't have any leaking issues. Did you feel that the fitment was off? As for the recycling I didn't even really consider it as it seems like quite a bit of work since my son uses a different brand of diapers. Only one Ubbi diaper pail.

      @@kevin-lu Do you mind sharing what brand your son uses? Also you mentioned you didn’t use them at night. Do you mind sharing what you use at night for diapers?

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do use them at night but my daughter wakes up to feed a couple times so we change her everytime still. She doesn’t spend 8+ hours in it. For my son he uses Costco brand diapers. They work really well for the price. Haven’t had any issues as he does sleep through the night in them.

    Watching this while I have my son laying in my lap and he just kicked you in the face. Sorry lol. I would love to see a comparison between these and Coterie, if you can, please. I can't find a comparison between the two (or both vs others in the same video) anywhere. Also, I was able to buy an individual pack for about $20 through the app, and Coterie does offer a trial pack, 10 for $7 plus $5 shipping.

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's been awhile since I've had Coterie diapers, but I can say for sure that it's one of my favorite of all the diaper brands I've used. Not quite as soft as Dyper, but the sizing, fitment, and material was spot on. Never had an issues with them. However, I couldn't justify the price as they are expensive.

    • @wandawaaa7974
      @wandawaaa7974 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love Coterie. -- but I've only tried Believe, Dyper and the hospital Pampers. -- Before my baby started pooping over night, she slept so long with Coterie-- as a newborn.
