As someone with hair loss (& knowing several people going through cancer right now) I can't wait to make such beautiful bandana's as gifts! With that stitch, they look SO pretty in all 1 color (you could make a whole little wardrobe set!)
I bet they'd look pretty in gradients too (all pinks for breast cancer, etc)

Im in love with bandanas making a comeback with genz. Being born 1970, I wore them often. Along with bucket hats and crocheted pullovers, over tank tops. Of course, my mom and aunt who raised me were hippies, lol. Im waiting for velvet posters and black lights next, lol.

The 70's were peak for crochet. I have tons of craft and needlework magazines and books from the 70s, tho I only just learned to crochet. I should go through them all and see what hidden treasures I own.

I loved that tutorial, you are so clear and it's so easy to understand. The scarves are the perfect thing to make when you don't want to tackle a big project, yet they still look so intricate it looks impossible to do (to anyone who hasn't heard you cheer them on!)

I love wearing these when I'm doing housework to keep my hair out of my face. Instead of making long ties on mine, I'm going to make "straps" just long enough to sew velcro on the ends and hold it on that way. If I have to tie these, I know I'll tie my hair up in it! 😂
Wore these as a teen! Was great when my hair was oily on top! lol we called these Bikini scarf or bikini bandana.

I am enjoying this so much I want to keep going to a shawl! I need to make sure I have enough of the yarn I am using but I may just order more if I don't. I am running two fingering weight cotton threads together-one in light blue and the other in a variegated that matches. This would be my first shawl ever!

I love this pattern! Making a bandana for my best friend, but definitely want to make a shawl. It would be helpful to have written instructions. Both help me with my ADHD. With help, we figured it out though, had to ask a friend to decipher how to continue the 2 row repeat!
