I like Brie Larsen as Tasha Yar; you can kill her off in Season Two and nobody will mind! In fact, the ratings will probably go up! 😈
With the need for a more fan accepted Trek, a reboot is not even close to being an idea. I enjoy these ideas and different but same, but we need a real new trek that does not start with hate and politics while taking key points of Rodenberry cannon to support while turning away from other key points that are considered arbitrary.

He'd be more suited to play Lore but he could do BOTH. I always thought that he modeled his portrayal of Loki was influenced by Brent Spiner as Lore, & I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.
McAvoy in Stewart’s role as Jean-Luc Picard is just as sweet as McAvoy playing a younger version of Stewart’s role as Mr. X!

I always thought so, a good fit personality wise but she’s a little too heavy set for me. Crusher was pretty skinny.

I think the presentation and AI tools in editing and portraying these characters are great. I'm just curious, did you make your choices on the best fit for each character or did the AI get a prompt to match with characters with similar characteristics?
They may be famous celebrities but they wouldn't do star trek justice without the original cast.

FWIW, I'm sure Star Trek and Star Wars fan fiction will be pioneers in AI movie generation. And it won't be limited to actual actors -- characters can be designed from scratch more like with animation. I envision different humanoid races as having more differences than we get with costumes, such as different limb proportions, number of fingers, and different appearing teeth.
Looks absolutely fantastic, now in the first episode if we get the doppelgangers of JJ Abrams and Alex kurtzman to be fired into the Sun that would be fantastic.
