Hello, I watched your video months ago. I have a robot of this model but I always have problems with its map. Every now and then the map gets messed up, it gets all wrong. Does this happen to yours too? Is there a way to recover the correct mapping without having to create a new one?!

Hi. That happens from time to time and not just with this brand or unit. I figured that happens when you have moved / changes object placement near the unit, etc.
I can’t remember the solution for this specific model, but is one of these two: check the map management in the options, and see if there’s a good map there that you can apply. Second option is going to cleaning history, pick one, check if the map is a good one and click apply map.
One of these should do the trick.
Let me know if it worked

I wouldn’t recommend this one. Mine never worked day 1 and was very noisy. I’ve owned 3 other Proscenic robots before this one (2 M7 Pros with 2 dust bin empty, and M8 which unfortunately a dust bin was not made for). I’ve always thought the navigation was strong once it figures it all out but the physical machine of this one had all kinds of problems day one and dealing with customer service made me jump through too many hoops to try and return without the first 30 days and when I was injured badly on crutches! Their prices are good and maybe you might get lucky but mine was really junk and I was so disappointed. My M8 and M7 pros have lasted for over 2 years. My M8 has finally broke too many parts now like the front roller and also the wheels are sticking on one side which I can’t seem to resolve either without trying take it apart which is a royal pain in the rear. I don’t think it is something stuck in there but something else. I wish they would make it easier to take apart than many tiny screws so we can do better maintenance cleanings but it’s seriously a major ordeal and a challlenge to put back together perfectly. So I would probably say not to risk it however the M7 and M8 were a good performance for the price at the time especially because it’s navigation was a lot better than my 2 previous Roomba and a Trifo. The Proscenic WAS smart and handled objects and cords and rugs better than any of the other brands. So buy at your own risk.
