My first roadtrain job was from Barrow Creek to Alice Springs pick up two bulkier tanker then back to Barrow Creek pick up a wide load machinery then back to Darwin shit what a log couple of days that was. I'm enjoying your videos as I'm now retired and enjoying the years of mistreating my body and a lot of happy memories thank you
Had the xc 351 had all the gt gear smaller spoiler but mine the candy apple col but did have trouble with gear sticks snapping maybe me lol so selve it again on me way and I was in me 20 to and now in me mid 60s Good to see love that model more so than xw xy Just me but .
Mine was both. My uncle and I converted it from the leaking slush box to a 5 speed XF manual. The 5 speed gearbox shit itself after 2 years and I replaced it with a sturdy BW 4 speed. It was a lot of fun to drive, dropped it into 2nd going out of town and it would bloody fly. T'was a 4.1.

We had a 1975 XB Fairmont (250ci 6 pot and C6) - that was my favourite car of Dad’s and I would love to find it and restore it in his memory
