    Completely agree with Beth below. This is the best ,most clear video. My head was swirling looking at others to make an apron but as soon as I'd watched a short amount of Toni's, I knew it was the one !! A million thanks. Apron is for my daughter and I'm going to the microwave bowl holder for my son.

    What an amazing video! You are the best teacher! I am 74 and learning to use a machine.. I got my Moms 60s sewing machine..had it serviced but messed it up, but she had another one I just got and I am using it…Mom passed away few months ago, so she would love it I am sewing….I need to watch a few times more…trying to understand the extra fabric you use on ends… but you explain better than anyone! I hope you teach… maybe online classes? I would certainly pay!!

    This video was so thorough! I literally went and bought an apron pattern, took it out and put it right back in the envelope it was so overwhelming. I watched the entirety of this video, the next day I made an apron. And 4 more the next day! Thank you for being fun, real and thorough ❤

    This is a great video and extremely thorough. I found it hard lining up the pockets on both sides to pin. The next apron I make I will add the pockets before assembling the two sides and see how that works. Thank you so much for this tutorial!

      That is a special rotary cutter. If you click on the details under the video I have links for all of the items I use in the video and where you can find them including the rotary cutter!

    What measurements do you recommend to size the apron for an 8 year old child & a 12 year old boy?

    • @Quiltoni
      @Quiltoni  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It completely depends on their size. I would start with the measurements in the video, hold it up to them and then draw down until it is the perfect size that you like! (Getting butcher paper to do the drawings before putting onto the fabric would be ideal).

    I cant see a thing! Your instructions seem clear but you could have chosen a better backgroud fabric.

    • @Quiltoni
      @Quiltoni  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not sure what you are referring to not being able to see? I chose two different contrasting fabrics on a colored cutting mat. There is no "background" fabric in this video? Is it the thread you can't see? This is the first time someone has said this about this video?

    Just a friendly, respectful request on behalf of visual learners. Please adjust your camera location as several times we just saw the top of your head during your demonstration of steps.

    • @Quiltoni
      @Quiltoni  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am definitely aware of this and I have purchased a few hundred dollars of new camera equipment to make sure future videos don't have this.

      @@Quiltoni, no insult was intended, I just tend to be very visual, especially if I have followed the directions I have read or listened to and am not sure I understand. I didn’t necessarily mean to buy more equipment (especially as I can appreciate just how expensive it can be), just maybe move the camera a few inches forward or to the side. I really do appreciate your videos.

      Hi Elizabeth, I actually commented and apologized for this already. I did watch the video and unfortunately there was no way around that with the equipment I had at the time with as close as the camera was. The only way to fix it at the time was buy much more expensive equipment. I have finally saved to purchase this so future videos do not have this problem.
