Hajime: "I don't really like to change voices like this"
Polka: "Anyway.... GO!"
Polka 🤣
Extroverts know the way to make introverts unlock their hidden abilities: Force them on the spot in front of other people.
Polka is a really great host and interviewer. Since many of the holomems already have radio shows, Polka probably doesn't want to steal their thunder.
But i bet Polka would do really well to start a radio/podcast/interview show similar to Kiara's
@@JanitorAntisociali thought Polka was a introvert but in conversations she put all her energy into it but once done, she's extremely tired.
From what i heard Polka is either extremely energetic or extremely tired, with no in between. 🤔
@@raimyonlinewarrior236 Can confirm, most of Polka's members-only content is in Low-Power Mode.
Hajime speaks like there’s a time limit.
she has to balance out kanade
Kanade took all banchou's time
Gotta fit it all in the clip somehow
Technically, there's always a time limit... for everyone
@kebien6020 not for kanade apparently
Polka and Ririka talking their kids to a play date
I love that Polka and Ririka seem to be on the same wavelength.
Polka: "Remember those times we've all grown up so much right, WAHAHA! Like that, you know?"
Ririka: *nods* "WAHAHA!"
0:56
Polka were through rough seas herself, she learned to laugh at the old days even if it was painful. That is how you could move on.
*"What's your superpower?"*
*"I can speak normally when you need it"*
*"Perfect! You're hired!"* -Deadpool probably
If Japanese has Cursive, it'll sound like Hajime
You mean Comic Sans
There do exist cursive Japanese. It is very different from Chinese "Caoshu" cursive script. Japanese "Kuzushiji" cursive script used to be a semi-standard in various manuscripts, and it was still predominant in writing mails and diaries before WW2. Kuzushiji is very fast running (almost like a stenograph) and idiosyncratic, so it is a massive headache for historians.
For history researchers in Japan, a huge "Kuzushiji dictionary" and a smartphone study app "KuLa" are essential.
@@HandleToBeDeterminedwingdings
Chloe’s handwriting
Japanese does have cursive. Especially in vertical writing. The kana and kanji are kinda fused together and it’s almost impossible to read.
I’m a simple man, if Nene laughs, I smile
Hajime speaks what Chloe writes
LOL
Great, now we need a telephone game where chicken-scratch writers switch off with holobaby read-aloud-ers. xD
I love Hajime's eyes always be 👁👁
Shut. Now i cant unsee it
👁👁
She looks like she's constantly shocked at whatever's happening rn
funny seeing nene as a senpai when ririka is her evolution after all
Wait so a Nene evolves into Ririka and a Ririka evolves into choco?
@@elektra8535add to the Holomon wiki.
Now we need Hololive girls Pokemon like evolution chart
Somehow this is sounding more like a Digimon chart. XD
The Flash: I can run around the world before you finish that sentence.
Hajime: Bet.
I like it when they speak and the models are facing the speaker. It doesn't happen all the time with vtubers, but it's cool when it does.
No worries, we love Hajime's accent.
Her slow mode is SPEAKING LOUDLY to pronounce everything lol
Even with subtitles in many clips (not only from this channel) I still cannot understand Hajime's pronunciation.
I can mostly understand her, but find it hard to pin-point if it's a dialect or just a strong case of mumbling.
@@gehirndoper At this point I'm fairly sure it's a speech impediment of some kind, and what she says here seems to support that: She can speak normally but is less comfortable doing so and she can't switch on the fly. Also, she sings in perfectly normal Japanese, which is apparently common for people with speech impediments.
Hajimes ability to speak the language of dababy is one of the best parts about her. I just love how she confuses herself as well as the JP bros at times.
This needs to become one of her skills in Holocure, "Banchou Speak" or something like that
Yo bro you’re getting cooked rn in Reddit
@@digitdude1375 Redditors shouldn't be taken seriously.
@@digitdude1375 link?
@@digitdude1375 What where? For what?
Her face at the start of this clip immediately made me laugh lmao
What can I say ? She talks like that with friends and that's wholesome af to begin with, not to mention it is *extremely* cute, sasuga Banchou my ReGLOSS oshi ♥
Hajime's like "i can't change modes in the middle, wait till i restart the game"
Restart to Apply settings vibe
Now I want to find this short 😂
3rd oldest short on her channel
I really love Hajime's illustration, especially her eyes
Polka looks so beautiful with that haircut
The Hajime and Marine collab is gonna make clippers cry
Miko must feel so betrayed right now.
This group of 4 is now my new favorite
i can speak normally too but we need more holobabies 🥰
Surprising to see Nene to still bring up aru given the controversy that made her drop it in the first place
so no one's gonna talk about that hajime "aja?"
because damn that was absolutely adorable
Hajime's Japanese is like Dune's Sardaukar's dialect of English where they truncate words and chop off syllables for efficiency and speed.
1:57 Eh?!
Its actually Genius though, she won’t doxx herself in public unlike other Holos very noticeable voices like Subaru.
Hajime speaks like someone is mashing the A button to make her conversation prompt go faster
I've always adored the way Hajime talks.
Wa. Ha. Ha.
Very cute
0:20 Polka knows what's going to be said next. lol.
If you TTS a doctor's handwriting that's Hajime.
She's perfect
Hajime speech is like a doctor's writing.
She's actually a genius.
thats great. starting with your "flawed" mode, and you can "improve" on that as your character development, but at the same time, you can also reveal as a funny plot twist that you can talk normally if you wanted
It's not really flawed mode it's her normal mode. To actually speak clear / more understandable takes more effort for her. For hajime at least it's not a matter of improvement or not that's just how she talks normally and the business mode / normal mode takes active effort
it's more like if she started in business mode of hers then if she reached a point wherein she's used to streaming, its kinda hard to maintain the business mode since she's getting used to doing streaming casually which will tend to make her casual talk show more.
imagine if you watch her talking properly on debut then gradually goes to a babylike talk, so if she starts at casual talk from the start she won't have to worry about maintaining the business mode way of her talking
@@venkaramon that's why I put it in quotations.
@@venkaramon true, reminds me of miko's debut where she always tried to speak "proper" but you can hear her elite speak when she gets flustered or forgets to put in effort. glad she finally dropped the elite language which introduced most of the western viewers to vtubers.
No matter what language the "uwu" is the strongest final form.
Bum bum bum
She has a similar voice to Ars Almal, and I think it's really cute.
Imma be honest, i want them to be as natural as they normally are. Yes, they are a 'character' but that part is already done by using an avatar. Just be yourself as much as possible. If that is babu speak for Hajime, then that's what it is and we love her for it.
The true reason she stopped using aru is because its a verbal tic associated which chinese characters (like Kagura from Gintama). Nene used to be a chinagirl character until the whole china fiasco. They immediately distanced themselves with Chinese association and changed nenes character from having chinese hairbuns to normal hairbuns/bear ears and removed her chinese dress. No doubt in my mind she stopped using aru because of that too, you can se how fast Polka deflected it when they were discussing why too.
Nah she was falling off before that thing happened.
Ngl, Polka's deflect was so damn smooth. I don't mind we lost that character, since we got the fluffy Nene we have today.
@@KyteMHe is right, also Shion has a banned outfit and Flare's panda-like mascot disappeared along her debut outfit.
She's always been a fluffy character and has been bad at keeping up that tick from the very start
@@TheIrrelevantYTActually, I was wondering how Nene was going to address it without actually saying China.
本当出来る XD
Many Japanese who grew up in places other than Tokyo has this issue after moving to Tokyo - they are forced to speak "proper" Japanese, which is essentially what used to be the Kanto or Edo dialect, and only speak their native dialect with close friends and family from their home town. This issue is especially problematic with Kansai folks who speaks Kansai-ben, that they just can't feel comfortable speaking Tokyo Japanese. I think Hajime is the same way with her unique way of speech.
Its not a dialect. She simply doesn't speak Japanese properly.... You could speak to 100,000 people and all of them would speak more clearly than her.
There is no shot this is her normal voice since she wouldn't be able to function in Japan... I suspect more people in Japan can understand English than Hajime.
@@Idiomatick what if she's from some rural area or something with that dialect?
@@SystemBotit's nothing to do with dialect (although she does seem to have some kind of dialect/accent), it's entirely to do with pronunciation. just like miko, luna or korone.
@@Idiomatick I know it's NOT a dialect. I'm saying it's LIKE that for other people with dialect.
I bet none of you actually know the reality and just guessing ffs
What if hajime's belly button start blinking after 3 minutes speaking "normally"
Ultra-hajime?
Humu humu
I seldom watch regloss but i know hajime is good at singing
bun bun bun!
But broo, her singing voice is really something,
Hajime 😧
BÜM BÜM BÜM! ☺️
I imagine in English this is like listening to Boomhauer from King of the Hill.
Belly showing lmaooo
I think holomem with one of the most name changed is Polka? PolPol, Pol, Po, Poruru, Pojoka
bullied bancho hahah
Most of them had these "Characters" so they Attract Viewers like how Pekora Used to say "Peko" Everytime but now not as Much..
Try to learn switching from Squirrel senpai, Hajime 😂.
Where can I find the clip Nene mentioned where Hajime speaks normally?
She said it was a Short
If you go to her channel's shorts tab, you can hear her more formal talk when she's acting out some scenarios.
i forgot the aru on nene i think she stop using it cause the problems with the chinise antis since her character was kinda oriented as a chinise girl at first using aru that is common to be use on anime on chinise characters
Hajime's singing is pretty clear and audible though
The perfect gap moe for me, instantly hooked with her singing voice, lol
Believe it or not, singing is actually a lot easier when it comes to accents and pronouncing than actually trying to speak the language fluently.
0:49 "are you not allowed to use that anymore now?"
I can see it flashing in nene's and polka's eyes, the flashback, the horror of that day because of the T-word.
nice save there btw polka, as expected from a veteran.
why the taiwan word is corelated to aru tick?
@@HadirUntukAndathe "aru" tic is generally used by foreigner type characters in Japanese media, specifically those from China (or Chinese adjacent countries in non-real world settings).
Who’s the one on the far right again? Polka, right?
1 month later but farthest right is nene, farthest left is polka
Idk Hajime seems like the talent you watch if you're really into her because sometimes I can't understand Miko, I need to listen carefully to understand Luna, but even if I'm super focus while listening to hajime I still can't comprehend most of what she's saying
Is this baby talk? Dialect? Accent? Short tongue? What am I hearing?
😝🤣🤣🤣🤣😘❤
Is Hajime a ghost?
Its kinda like my handwriting i guess i could write properly but most of the time its just scribble writing that people struggle to read
Watame did nothing wrong here
So your telling me she isn't actually a member of HoloBabies?😢
I feel like Hajime's style of speaking is like the JP equivalent of XQC and how he talks, it's understandable but you need to tune your ears to it and you learn to get used to it after a while (I assume, idk Japanese). They both probably talk like this because it's more natural, but they can speak normal when needed which is understandable.
Doesn't mean people won't make fun of it though lol
Hajime sort of sounds like she has a speech impairment, because even when she went into business mode that "desu" at the end had a slight lisping to it and it sounded a bit forced. Also would make sense why she feels more neutral and comfortable talking like this.
I missed nene's "aru" and her backstory about planet tao tao, shame Cover is so anti chinese these days....
what makes hololive great it theres no 'acting' theres no 'specific character' they have to play, which makes them so perfect
I can't stand bullshit baby talk which is why I have no interest in people like Luna or Hajime. It's not adorable, it's a useless affectation.
