How many eyeshadow palettes do you own?

Over 160… yes, I have a problem 😂
I think around 50 bigger eyeshadowpalettes but I do find it a lot, so I'm trying to downsize and no buy (unless it's different & amazing)
About 100, but I also do TH-cam and review eyeshadow palettes cause they are my favorite makeup products.

Yayyy love your long palette collection videos! My dragon fruit lid broke off the second time I used it and I hadn’t even dropped it or travelled with it.. :( I read on someone else’s comment section that it happened to so many people. I never figured out a way to fix it but I just stick the lid on top and store this one carefully. It’s a bummer but at least the shades are magnetic so I could eventually transfer it to a magnetic palette… but I loved the pink neon jelly packaging. 😂 I just wish it was sturdy.
Btw… I was not angry but bummed about the odens eye Christmas palettes but I had a sneaking suspicion they might bring it back for popular demand and I’m so happy and excited!!
I don't think they really tested out that packaging, so sad! Are you picking up both Christmas palettes?
When was there a preorder for a month on the Oden's Eye Christmas collection???👀👀👀
If you go back on their instagram posts, you can see they opened a pre-order after it sold out the first time. Then about a month later they posted it's sold out. That's actually how I got it, I missed it the first round
The thing about Oden's Eye Christmas Palettes, I specifically remember meaning to buy them, but never quite having the free money for it, and thinking "That's ok, it's limited edition, but I'll just keep an eye on them and the brand to make sure I get them if I have to". And then one day I just see a message from the brand, that's it, too-da-loo folks, thank you so much for the successful launch, we're never bringing those back, ever. That's what I'm personally upset about, I just never realized it was the last chance to get them until it was gone. That might be just me though, missing some heads-up from them. Still secretly hoping it's going to be Melt Cosmetics' Vida-Muerte "Whoops, clumsy us, we found a couple of palettes at the back of the office" situation :)
Of course I understand being upset about missing out, but I see some people commenting on basically all their Instagram posts about it and I don't think that's fair either. Oden's Eye did say on their instagram post where they announced the pre-order it would be the last batch. So, I wouldn't say they did anything wrong here
@@MarlieWijn I agree, maybe we're also a bit misguided by limited editions as a marketing tactic to stimulate the demand. The demand was obviously there, so it went against the expectations many of us have been conditioned by the industry to have. The brand haven't done anything wrong, of course, it was just sad to see such a gorgeous collection get such a short lifespan.
@@daria9277 Yes totally, nowadays it is a bit shocking to see something actually being limited edition. I think nobody expected this collection to sell this fast and that's mostly how we got here. I'm curious to see if they'll do a rerelease or another Christmas collection this year. I think they'll be more prepared
They did restock though after the first time they sold out. But I have been hearing through the grapevine they *may* be restocking them (or doing another Xmas collection)... we will just have to see.

It’s not their fault the supply couldn’t meet the demand but that launch caused a bit of confusion for a lot of us.
My husband went to purchase them in early November as a Christmas gift but they sold out of the final stock by then. We both were confused and disappointed because Odens eye said they’d be “available for purchase until 13/12 2022”.

If you want to keep the packaging / memories of the raw beauty kristi palette I bet you could switch out some of the shadows for other colourpop shadows since it’s magnetic !

Decluttering gets hard. I have 42 palletes both small and large. I've decluttered about 40 from the last 2 years. It seems excessive still, but I have phases where I'm into cool toned, warm toned, extremely colorful and pastels. I kept a few of each color story, and also smaller versions of colorstories I'd travel with or need more portable. Hardest to get rid of were some odens eye palettes oncluding the hela (I had all of them but am down to 2 after being realistic with myself), the feral pallette by menagerie, and the sigma pallettes.
Also one of the reasons I don't wanna declutter too much, my taste in eyeshadow keeps changing
