A great way to make a forestcore island look natural (besides loads of trees) is using the dark dirt path! If you place weeds on the dark dirt path it looks a bit like herbs growing on and sugarcane works great on it too! Hope this helps with decorating

Raven! Even tho you’re doing forestcore, your trees still need variety, use different tree types and heights. To freeze a tree at a certain height, put a sapling, and when it’s desired height put a fruit behind it.
I even feel that perhaps a few fruit trees scattered may look nice too! I feel like apples and maybe even cherry trees would look nice because of the fruit's red colouring amongst the lush green colour! it'll be like the forest has "wild fruit trees"
I've am loving the white flowers on a singular patch of dirt. Peak intentional design. Another idea: you may enjoy using the white pansies because they have a little bit of blue coloring in their center which may help incorporate the blue buckets that hold your water bugs and soft-shell turtles
I feel you on the funky sleep schedule & needing 8+ hrs to function! I wouldn't feel bad or worried about "fixing" your sleep, as long as it works for you ♡
Important knowledge about sleep for Raven: women need more sleep than men. can't remember the reason for that, but basically men need around 6-8 hours of sleep, where women need 8-10 hours of sleep. so it's not fair to expect your body to be feeling fresh after 6 hours of sleep, it's just not enough. please take care! As a fellow night owl, I wanna validate your sleep schedule. I don't see your sleep schedule as "bad." Everyone has a different natural sleep rhythm and none of them are better or worse than any other. Some of them just happen to aline better with what society deems "normal" and "productive."
I know I said this the past 2 videos but... I know your island is forest core, but you can always do like a little market or yard sale type of area on a picnic blanket. Like you could put tools, materials, clothing, gyroids, etc on a picnic blanket. You can always one of the villagers yards as a yard sale and have the villager as the person selling the items :D

Been rewatching this series and I relate to that sleep schedule thing but mostly because I have narcolepsy so being awake during the day is a pain lol. Also 20-30 minute naps is about how long you’re supposed to be taking naps anyways! Any longer becomes actual sleep cause you start getting into sleep cycles and it can cause you to wake up really groggy since you didn’t complete a sleep cycle!

hey Raven! if you have problems pronouncing the megaloceros, you can just call it the irish elk! that's the common name for that animal! also to answer your fossil questions, the archaeopteryx is among the first fossils we found that provided evidence that dinosaurs evolved into modern day birds. think of it as a species that was kind of the transition point between what we consider the stereotypical dinosaur and birds today. it's wings were large enough to allow it to glide but it still had basal traits like teeth! and the 'shark tooth' isn't actually a shark tooth but the bottom jaw of an extinct shark called the helicoprion. the best way I can describe them are sharks with a circular saw blade sticking out of their mouths haha. definitely look them up they are funky little guys! I hope you enjoyed my paleobiology fun facts! Edit: Also another idea for a light source that you can use is fish tanks, they light up if you click on them. I used the sea butterfly since it's a small and cylindrical tank so it looks decorative. you might be able to prop them up on tree stumps? not sure.

Drop clothes/accessories. Bags, shoes, socks, etc. Place tools. Shovels, watering cans, etc. Make a little pond fishing area w/ a fishing rod. Make little mini gardens and orchards in villager yards. Use lots of glowing moss. Make a thick forest area with a hiking trail. Hope these tips help you! You totally don't have to use them if you don't want to. I have no idea what I'm talking about so my judgement probably isn't the best. If anyone has any tips they'd like to add to the list, you can put them in the replies and I might add it to the list and you will get full credit. As someone with an iron defficiancy and crohns disease I can tell you I need alot more sleep then other people. I would recommend getting tested for an iron defficiancy
I used to be similar but with 9 hours of sleep (although I would go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier) I've always been an early bird, my vision of the day is pretty much, as soon as the sun is out I wanna start doing stuff! Exciting! When it's gone i feel it's time to chill out lol Meaning right now I only really need 6-7 hours of sleep, whilst in the winter I need 9-10 to feel awake at all I go to sleep when I'm tired and wake up when I have to, I refuse to still be asleep after 8:50am, even if i went to sleep at 5am.
For one of the villager houses you should do like a lumberjack person because you couldn’t placed on the axes and you can I do this tree stumps along the trees and stuff and it’s really cool and the funky of fencing you did to be like logs that he’s worth the villagers holding up so he can build like a cabin or something
