The irony or rather stupidity of the ESG scoring is that it’s touted as “necessary for attracting investors and retaining customer loyalty” when in practice it does the exact opposite. BudLight’s ESG score went up massively thanks to Dylan Mulvaney yet their sales plummeted by over 25%. How these r-tards can argue the new ESG score is worth it is beyond me

I read (present tense) a lot of stuff on a lot of subjects -- I'm usually working on at least a half dozen different publications at a time -- and I think the Miller Lite lecture was deliberately presenting us an incomplete version of reality.
Based on what I read (past tense) on the subject, sometime and somewhere, brewing the beer or the ale or the mead or the whatever for the household was generally the work of women because it was part of the general housekeeping duties. Back in the days before commercial breweries, men did not gather on their back decks and talk about the latest blend they had going in their "Mr. Beer" keg kits. Brewing was lumped in with the sweeping and the cooking and the laundry and the chamber pot cleaning. I would say, then, that through the 2023 distorted fun-house-mirror lens of Woke-ism, women brewing beer over the centuries was one of those "patriarchy-defined gender role" things, like wearing a skirt and changing diapers, and should NOT be dignified or celebrated.

It is absolutely sickening to know that companies are now relying upon a made-up ESG score to determine "worth" instead of something as simple as "making a profit or not".
