I have an lwrc 45 Smg I brought in February 2020 for $2800 out the door from my local gun store,it came with 2 American made "updates mags"(I was surprised they had one of these on the shelf at my LGS)..LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS LWRC SMG. 45...It's the first gun that I brought that I actually read the manual.In the manual it says "the lwrc smg45 is ready to go right out the box".So I put it to the test,took it right out the box and straight to the range with 200rds of whitebox Winchester and had no issues.then I brought 2 more mags from HKparts (the American made mags but not the upgrades mags Lwrc sells) so I went to the range again and put 400rds thru it using all 4mags and 0 malfunctions..3 weeks later I put another 400rds thru it and it ran flawless.so far I have 1000rds thru it and I STILL HAVEN'T had one issue and I haven't cleaned it yet...LWRC knocked it out the park with this thing.. everything feels so good on it and so tight,very soft shooting 45acp and it's deff worth the money..granted I am on the lwrc fourm and there's only a handful of people who had issues..this gun is what perfection looks like,there's People out there who talk bad about this gun yet they've never even touched the gun..if u have the money to buy one,all I can say is GO FOR IT you won't regret it at all..I like It way better than my B&T..I also have the newest generation Sig MPX psb 9mm with the 4inch barrel,mlok rail and that's another gun that is fantastic ..
I have never owned an LWRC firearm. LWRC picked the right guy with Adam, he comes across as an honest guy when he talks about malfunctions and issues. More companies need this.

I'd like to see all these models at less than 1200 honestly, a much more sensible and reasonable price point that isn't detrimental to material costs/ quality end result. I built a Pistol AR for under 900 dollars out of well known manufacturer components, there's no reason they can't sell it for something way more reasonable to the everyday consumer and user.

Or, if I want to be horribly impractical I can get a Colt Delta Elite, send it in for a melt job, color case hardening, fitted match PVD coated barrel, and trigger job. I'd still have money left over for plenty of ammo.

The UMP mags look immensely sexier than Glock mags. They made the right choice. That being said, the price point sucks. You’re $3500 into it with an optic!
....Is it worth $50-70 per 25 round UMP magazine vs $20 for a 26 round glock .45 magazine just to look "sexier"? I mean, if you ever want to actually use it in a competition, you will probably need a minimum of 4, but I would rather have 6, in case one fucks up and causes malfs. So, 6 x $50 = $300 6 x $20 = $120 And a lot of people who shoot competitively seem to recommend 10 magazines.... I mean, I understand, you prefer a gun to look a certain way, but there are very good reasons people are using Glock magazines, rather than H&K magazines.

Well, let's see why people want them to be glock magazine adapters: 30-33 round 9mm magazine for glock: $20-25. CZ Scorpion Evo 3 30 round magazines: $25-40 B&T 9mm 30 round magazines: $56 H&K MP5 9mm 30 round magazines: $34+ Course, cost is one thing, there are some magazines you could get for less money, such as the ProMag M11 9mm 32 round magazine for $15 (no idea if it is a reliable magazine or not). But...a lot of people who are doing competitive shooting? Are using Glocks. Probably one of the most common pistols being used in 2 gun, 3 gun, etc. And if you can buy 5, 30 round magazines and use them in both your pistol, and your PCC...vs buying 3-5 magazines for your pistol, AND 5 or so magazines for your PCC.... There is good reason people want their PCCs to us common Glock magazines: Looks don't mean shit in competition. The extra money wasted on more magazines, could have gone to more ammunition for training instead.

I get spending $2900 on a precision rifle that I will shoot out to 1000+ yards, but for a pistol caliber carbine... there are a lot of great choices for half the $.
Its expensive in part due to the barrel reciprocation. thats fancy smancy. They should have licenses the radial delay blowback from cmmg if they wanted to mitigate the harshness of the 45 rd. could have saved a lot of money.
Not too bad of a price given the engineering features and R&D that went into this. Looking forward to picking this up and the B&T 10mm, I really hope they do a 10mm as well one day.
Shoot one. I picked one up from LWRCi in their first batch and the gun is surprisingly awesome. I mounted my AAC TiRant .45 and put a Geissele SSD-E in it and Lord Almighty - it's a sweet shooter. I also have a CMMG Banshee .45 and it's been relegated to holding down the fort in my safe. Build quality is amazing as well. Yeah, it's spendy, but even if you have no desire to buy one, definitely shoot one. I definitely think it will surprise you.

Also you clearly have not fired something made by Tommy built, as they are silky smooth, tight like the virgin Mary and run like a scalded dog. With 200 produced per month (and 20-40 of those sitting on some dealer shelf) it will take 5 years to flush out all the bugs. I will be sitting under my bridge, hold (or spending on something else) my hard-earned 3k. Thank you.

No I have to say while it is selling fine it needs to be cheaper for normal people to be able to afford. Come on this isn't a primary weapon system but more of a backup. The magazine's are stupid expensive too.

Forget the mounting system. He scoffs at glock mags then goes into a long story about there is only one source for the Hk mags and they suck so much lwrc has to fix each one by hand.
Being LWRC I knew this would cost you a kidney, but this is a sweet gun. At $2900 I'll pass though. Way too many other options out there to pay basically a down payment on a car. Still a great overview.

You can find Mk10 300 Banshees for less than 1500. So, more like half the price.

10mm is the only caliber I want an SMG/PPC in and the one caliber that makes these little guns make sense to me.

There is a reason the MCX conversion was chosen over this system. No way in 2020 do I recommended a professional to use pistol caliber.
The only advantage in using pistol calibers is that they’re more effective in the subsonic role than neutered subsonic rifle rounds
