I’m always amazed at the power of hydraulic cylinders. Watching that Volvo front end loader scoop up approximately 7 yd.³?, and estimating 1.5 Tons per cubic yard, that 10 or 11 Tons. It makes it look easy! Am I in the ballpark? RL Buffalo, NY. USS
not sure about sweden but norway we have a 50 ton rule and stone isnt same weight all the time it difers from type and hardnes so it may not be to wrong. and there may be a lower load limit on the road the truck is going.
Watching the loading at about 15:00, I noticed the loader dumped about 1.5 bucket loads into the yellow truck. From my previous estimate of about 10 or 11 Tons per bucket, I say that truck was loaded with 15-16 Tons of crush stone. Do trucks such as the years have load cells on them, to tell the driver how much of a load has been dumped in his truck? Thanks, Roy
i agree but this may also be too take out some of the material for sale. 0-250 are used in alot of different aplications. so there may be a reason. but besides that i agree with the economy part :)
looks like after the first part of the vid you got a screen so you at least know what your making but for some reason you guys only moved the jaw back when you were digging into the bank. then the loader has to run double time and load from the jaw to the cone and stockpile and load trucks. that's how you lose money. sorry but I had to call you guys out.

The wheel loader is equipped with weight system, so the driver of the loader, he knows exactly how much he loads on the trucks
