Thank you for the comment, jason has a lot of experience and he makes things simple and trust when I said he has tested everything you see on that table.
It is obvious that you are a combat vet. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service, and your sacrifice. I also have a lot of what you do in your bags. If I need it, great, I have it. If I don't need it, even better.
No nonsense from this guy. Jason only uses stuff that really has a purpose. Based on his extensive experience. Having different level bags hanging in the garage or in the car are very good idea.
I 86d the water bladder in my kit; the line freezers up fast in cold climates. I carry two Nalgene bottles in my 72-hr pack. Plus, a full Grayl press. Great vid. New sub.
Main SS Nalgene + Grayl is a great combo. I store a mesh bag and a Sawyer squeeze inside the Grayl. Grayle filters are amazing, but have a short lifespan and can't be back flushed to clean. Using the Sawyer as a prefilter on turbid water will greatly extend the lifespan of the Grayl. And the Sawyer will last a decade of daily use with proper maintenance. I killed the drink tune bladder for the same freezing reason + hard to clean and replaced with two extra alternatives: A couple disposable 1.5L smart water bottles + a CNOC 28mm bladder. Combined with the Sawyer, gives me passive gravity fed filtration and a buddy kit. Or drop the bottles and packs down to nothing.
Since there is real modern warfare taking place and go pros are everywhere. All I can imagine in you in the woods with all this equipment only to get a silent drone ordnance drop in the pitch of night. Crazy times
What is your opinion on a defense system for a felon that hasn’t benefited from the 2A reform yet? I thought about pepper ball guns and taxers, but in Illinois I can’t own them either! I’m never more than ten miles from home and I’m good with my hands
You should look into black powder revolvers and black powder shotgun. In most states black powder weapons are not classified as a firearm. As always check with your state laws or attorney.
"Never forget coffee" i agree with that 💯.
