      Really surpised Mikey and Suraj played off of the joke like that, I know Racism from Indian-Americans to Indians can be pretty common but I expect more from a group that prides itself in being inclusive. Mikey and Marketa was right that it is immoral but the quality of work tangent they went on completely missed the mark. Thought they would go on how these outsourced laborers are often exploited and how outsourcing completely cucks United States residents as well because it breaks the Labor supply and Demand curves that Capitalism is supposed to function on. All of this to benefit people in Managerial positions. Hope the Normies educate themselves more moving forward.

    9:43 Marketa coming off totally ignorant there. What does she mean by 'Quality of work'. Is she suggesting that Indians can't handle a work with the required quality when the work is handed abroad? While trying to be morally right, she's coming off completely ignorant and factually incorrect.

    • @Oneryeone
      @Oneryeone 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +22

      I don't think she's commenting on India or Indians. Corporations outsource labour to Asia because they don't have to pay those workers very much. It's not that "Indians can't handle a work with the required quality", but that the outsourcing of labour inherently causes a drop of quality because the whole point of such an action is to cut costs as much as possible. They aren't paying Indians to do quality work; they are paying them to do the cheapest work. It isn't a criticism of any particular culture or ethnicity so much as it is a criticism of corporate philosophy.

    • @tijmen6947
      @tijmen6947 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Its possible the quality of the work suffers from moving parts of a company to a foreign nation. Not because the foreign nation is incompetent, but because of different timezones/culture/language barrier. Communication between branches will become more complicated always.

    • @Zamrod
      @Zamrod 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It might not be directly related to the work being in India, but every time I've seen work shipped over to a bunch of people in India the quality has decreased significantly.
      I wish I could pinpoint the exact reason this is the case since I only see it from the point of view of "This was working well, then an office with a bunch of people in India took over and suddenly everything is not working anymore." but I don't see the details of why that is.
      I have a couple of theories about this. Most of the time it appears to be lack of technical expertise. Or rather, I should say "spotty" technical expertise. The technicians I've dealt with in India sometimes have knowledge on how to deal with some pretty complex and rare systems...but seem to lack really basic knowledge that near every technician I've worked with in North America has. Like they know how to setup and configure services in Windows Server while simultaneously not knowing where the Start Menu is.
      I can only guess that due to the economics and culture in India that most of them didn't grow up using computers for whatever reason so although they've gotten degrees from colleges, they just don't have years worth of experience doing basic things on computers. Their technical knowledge is mostly theoretical. Because it is mostly theoretical, it often takes longer to do since every step needs to be googled.
      Like, for example, I used to monitor a bunch of servers and page out when things went wrong. Our company decided to save money by consolidating their server support people to India. Before that happened when an issue happened, we'd page out and the support person would call us back 5 minutes later and the issue would be fixed 10 minutes after that. After the transition, we would call the support person who would tell us that they were out shopping and it would take them about 2 hours to get home before they could start working on the issue. Once they got there, they'd call us up and let us know they were working on the issue and then it would take another hour to actually fix it.
      The amount of time required to implement the fix in question is about 2 minutes. When we would ask for updates, we'd get answers that showed they were kind of trying random things, hoping to find the right answer for the hour. They did technically have the knowledge required to fix the issue but it always took longer.
      The other issue is that there is a cultural thing in India that encourages not asking for help. Saying you don't know something, no matter how small seems discouraged by society. This results in the technicians sitting around trying to figure something on their own when if they asked someone for help they could have solved it in very little time.
      Whatever the reason, the result that I've seen repeatedly at multiple companies is that every transition to India (and I've seen 3 or 4 of them at this point) has always ended up with poorer quality service.

The team (like 7 people) sat fairly far from the sup too. One day we were bullshiting and this girl started talking about her tits being weird shapped, as a bob lover i said nah theyre good and she, in front of the team, says "nuh uh, come feel em." So i got up, walked in front of the whole group, and put my hand down her shirt (after making sure it was okay that i do so like 5 times.) im fairly dark complected so afterwards one of my friends was like "i didnt even know you could blush" between laughing.
