3 ideas for videos: 1. All time associates ODI XI (you can only count their record when their country was an associate nation, so Nabi and Stirling cut off at 2017) 2. Could’ve Should’ve Would’ve Players, who may have had great careers but we never saw their best in internationals (for various reasons) 3. Part timers Test XI, 6 bowlers as the batting lineup, 4 batsmen as the bowlers, and a part-time keeper (Please try to not pick all-rounders, like the “batters” should be worse than Vettori and the “bowlers” should be worse than Jayasuriya)
Worth an honourable mention for Mary Duggan, who remains the all-time highest wicket taker in women's Test cricket (77). Like many of those mentioned, Duggan had all-round skills, scoring two Test centuries. During England's tour of New Zealand in 1957, Duggan switched from pace bowling to finger spin. At that point, she had taken 39 wickets at 13.89 as a left-arm seamer, and took a further 38 at 13.07 after switching to spin. Also, if Estelle wanted a different outside the box pick, she could have gone with Sri Lanka women's evergreen Udeshika Prabodhani, who has the most wickets by a left-arm seamer in women's T20Is (84), and is still going strong at 39 years of age.
Alan keith davidson was insane bowler . His economy was 1.98 !!! Can you believe this ?? Most of 80s - 90s cricket viewers believe that ak davidson was greatest left arm seamers of all time. His FC record is extraordinary.
Huge reach for fizz here. He could do this that the other.. based on revolutions. You could buy that if he had even a 100 wickets in tests doing such magic and then extrapolate that. Even his first class record is bang average. I wish this podcast had ppl at Jarrod's level to challenge him as well, rather than 2 ppl that just nod along as tney know Jarrod is far superior to them in analysis
Trust Estelle & Behram to dumb up the list. Irfan Pathan deserves a spot in the list. He had fantastic wicket taking ability. He had several MOMs across formats and a Hattrick!! Faulkner, Junaid & Wahab are in the same league as RP Singh, Ashish Nehra and T Natarajan.
Irfan pathan didn't play enough Test or T20I cricket. His best format was odis even there he was just above average if that and his statistics back that
@@paramtageja6891 picked up a test hattrick in the first over and a t20i odi wc...he deserved to be on the list. There are quite a few who aren't even all format players and others who are just plain substandard!
Those who have basic knowledge of Cricket will know that Asian Fast bowlers having Test Average of 30-33 are equal to SENA Fast bowlers having Test Average of 27-30 Zaheer Khan was as good bowler as Starc, Johnson, Boult
Trent Boult and Mustafizur over Zaheer and Vaas? Oh Please, had Boult born in any Sub-continent country he wouldn't have been half as good as Vaas or Zaheer.
It can be great if Behram can contextualize the numbers, It can be difficult to follow all the numbers he is saying. Jarrod does a much better job with saying the numbers, always making it clear why that knowing that number of wickets, or average is important.
Starc and boult looks close stats wise, but if you look at the bigger picture - starc was player of tournament in 2015(pretty comfortably too), most wickets in a single world cup campaign in 2019, 2x ODI WC winner, T20 WC winner, and WTC winner. On their average days, boult was considerably better with his control and skill and mastery of swing, but starc was far more capable of producing unpalayble performances (albeit not too frequently) Although now that I think about it, behram you may be right - most of the arguments for starc are for ODIs, you'd take boult in the other formats (but still barely)
So.... You guys picked an ALL FORMAT left arm seam bowlers list and left out the person with a MoM award in T20I WC finals and a hattrick in the first over in test cricket😅. Genius!!
Cmmon man Shaheen? He had 2 good years... There's so many more yiu can choose. Sure it your choice and everything, but these things kinda leaves a bas taste in mouth.
Shaheen has had 4 good years… for some you could say that is a career. And he’s only 24. Quite easily a good pick here if you know your cricket. His record is fantastic for his age too, and his skill as Jarrod said is far superior to many higher on the list
He is only 24 and he already has 335 wickets with 100 wickets in each format.. his ODI record is outstanding.. his one blemish is that he needs an ICC World Title to further his stature.
It's not that simple. Boult has better control throughout. Definitely better in T20 and in Tests though Starc had higher peak, 2019-23, he has been a shadow of what he used to be. It's a matter of preference but definitely not "joke of the century"
@Aman-Singh2808 starc is far better in test look at home and away performance of starc and boult starc is far better their average overallnis comparable just because boult performance is better innhome conditions but away from home he is worse than starc also starc is far better in odis . So yes its joke of century

It is excellent but you need to put it into context. The overall economy rate of bowlers in his era was 2.26. Therefore it is 12% better than average.
Johnson if I'm not mistaken was 2x test player of the year, and 2x ODI world champion. That's quite a resume
Loving the praise/recognition for fizz - we forget how much of an anomaly was when he showed up(honestly as much as rashid or Narine)
was hoping for Jarrod to mention Rahat Ali who's one of his favourites lol
The thing that makes Wagner great (aside from the obvious ticker and dedication) was the fact he did it all with an old ball
@behram I clapped at your Junaid Khan pick. Was thinking exactly the same 😂
PETITION FOR THE NEIL WAGNER PODCASSTTT!!!
roman if you want that, look up an old podcast called cricket sadist hour jarrod did years ago, theres one all about wagner
@AndyZielinski is it about Wagner or is he in it? Because I meant the latter
@@romannaseer322 sorry i misunderstood, yeah its about him, not with him
1. Akram
2. Davidson
3. Boult
4. Vaas

8. Wagner
9. Fizz
10. Amir
11. Jansen
12. Shaheen
You cant pick jansen yet surely
@joebowden4065 he has immense potential so he will be in my list
Even Nathan Bracken would have been a way better pick than Fizz 😂
Best 5 Batsman, Pacer, Spinner & greatest cricketer since 90s.
Note : Only retired.
• Batsman - Tendulkar, Lara, Ponting, Villiers & Sangakkara
• Pacer - McGrath, Akram, Steyn, Ambrose & Donald
• Spinner - Warne, Muralitharan, Kumble, Ashwin & Saqlain

I will suggest a cricpicks on "cricket what ifs". I want this so behram can slide asif in there 😂

Zaheer Khan was as good bowler as Starc, Johnson, Boult
Brett Schultz injury prone bowler but from the stats looks like a top player.
Trent Boult and Mustafizur over Zaheer and Vaas? Oh Please, had Boult born in any Sub-continent country he wouldn't have been half as good as Vaas or Zaheer.
My Top 5 - Wasim, Akram, Sultan of Swing, Waz, King of Swing.

I don't think Jarrod likes starc all that much 😅😂
Richard Collinge, NZ, remains a forgotten man...
Faulkner ended Ishant Sharma's ODI career. That take down of Ishant is what I remember most of Faulkner.
How about you guys do a video about best expat/foreign born players (so like KP, Trott, Imran Tahir, Neil Wagner, tony grieg, eoin morgan)
Did you include Zaheer Khan? Vaas was very good?
Kimbers analysis on starc vs boult is a joke
James Faulkner over Ashish Nehra, Irfan Pathan?

first i thought you were talking about sam currun 😂
I haven't seen the video, but if shaheen is in there then i am done with channel
Mitchell Johnson ??
10 mins in hopefully they have picked Irfan pathan.
Alan Davidson avg in 24 more than wasim
Till top 5 it was good then estelle pick fu**ed up how can you pick him over zaheer and mitch Johnson
Fizz over Zaheer and Mitchell Johnson? Really? So Stupid.
