That's lame. This was an awesome book and you missed out for no real reason. Give it a chance. I would have LOVED to get to read this in school instead of all those books by pretentious dudes.

I have this book for summer reading and have been having a lot of trouble with adhd during quarantine, so it was good that could I listen to you while doing other things! I originally only came here because I don't want to pay for an audiobook, but I almost feel like I'm in the class again and the teacher is reading to me. It feels a lot more personal and again, maybe it's just quarantine getting to me, but I really like your reading this and it really helped me get through.
This is one of my favorites, read it as a teenager in the 70’s! Thank you so much! Great background while I cook, or garden, I cart you around on my iPad. I love the descriptions of food, in this. The shocking ending is delightfully chilling. Shirley Jackson must be remembered, again thank you so much!
