    Good video! I have a Spanish speaking friend here in London who is from south America and so this accent is useful to hear.

    I think this is great and thanks for all the comments my high school spanish teacher was not wrong, we learned a different pronumciation but then again, she taught us there are hundreds of pronunciations and dialects floating around in Europe and central/south amercia. I love the 2000 words. it's a start for sure. not the same as conversational spanish, but I still love it. tired of learning spanish as focusing on congregrating tons of abnormal verbs

    it would be great if you included the articles with the nouns as it is a huge challenge for spanish language learners to memorize the masculine and feminine.

  • @keenedreams1682

    very helpful, however it would be better if you included the gender of the noun, just (m) or (f) next to it would do fine

    I'm a Spanish person and this is Latin Spanish. Real Spanish accent is Castilian (Castellano) from Spain and it sounds way more different in pronunciation than this and some words are different.
    I MEAN, if you like Latin accent it's fantastic but please do not confuse this with the Spanish from Spain

      Each country has its accent and pronunciation.
      I'm Argentine but I do not understand Central-Americans or Spaniards, Although yes to the Italians and Brazilians.

    I assure you there are more important words then "ant" or "Antarctica" in the top 1300 words you must know. In fact, studying those two words will slow down your Spanish fluency. This is silly.

    Can y'all pronounce the words right tho? I mean, the "ll" has a Y sound not a J sound. Thanks.

    • @opoa4624
      @opoa4624 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Some accents in latin america switch between Y and a Y mixed J sound depending on the word. It is correct. Sometimes you will here people say llama like jama. Or Yo like Jo. But a soft J sound.

      @@opoa4624 Yes, I have heard that in Mexico , and my wife is from Peru, and they always correct my spanish with the soft J sound, that they use there also.

    Alligator and Anteater?..is where i decided to stop watching. Silly to have them in the list of must know words for beginners. And to have Latin American pronunciation instead of Castellano (Spain) is just silly again. This isn't up to the normal high standard of Spanish101. Sorry guys.
