You're misunderstanding why Brig is a good main support to pair with ana against dive. The point isn't to kill the Winston: the point is to procc inspire while dealing dmg to the Winston. Ana can then pair that with bio-nade, which, if placed accurately, can both anti the Winston and heal boost Brig.
'play to win, not to not lose' is great advice. I started swapping that mindset with Sombra especially when my team is struggling. You make better plays, distract more, and things happen way more often. Solid af as always
14:32 that reminds me of cp_steel in TF2. its the black sheep of control points where it has 5 points, A-E, but E is available for capture from the get go (the other points are not required but when caped make it easier for blue to cap E, A opens a new route to E, i don't remember what B does, C closes Reds main/fastest route to E, and D extends bridges to E. [E is on an Island and not all classes can reach it before the brides come out]) so if your team is struggling to cap A-D (usually A & B give the best results.) go start capping E as half of Reds team will normally go to protect.

This explains a lot. I've wondered why it felt so bad to fight a Winston as Dva all the sudden when I used to absolutely shred him. I REALLY hope the devs actually look at tanks right now. I have 1k hours on Dva, only for it to feel like I haven't played her before anytime they do these stupid overall tank changes that make her feel even worse while buffing tanks that dont need it (looking at you Hog and Mauga).

I’m a top 500 rein/winston/sigma tank trust me reaper or bastion don’t counter him. If you are beating Winston like that then those tank players don’t have the IQ
Bastion and Reaper are terrible against Winston, especially on Numbani. Bastion has no mobility, and Reaper has no range. Both are sluggish and are stopped by Winston's bubble.
I feel like she never really “countered” him. She was one of the few that could keep up with him and plays well into him. But just the fact that she can’t really block his dmg with matrix makes it so he can protect herself semi decently against her (of course she can boop him out of his bubble but he can just go right into it. You can burst it down with rockets but again, he can just get away and she has to waste all her resources just on chasing him and can’t really play to her full potential cause all she can do is focus the monkey. Now monkey simply has nothing to rail him in and in afraid we are about to enter another monkey meta and it’s always freaking annoying.
Yeah I think this was on the team. I mean sure, you could've swapped off Dva against the Winston if you wanted to, but your team all had a plethora of options themselves either swap or positioning wise to help themselves. It was a waste of your time to peel back and give space - aside from keeping the peace I guess.
Was playing ram against a meh Winston the other day and swapped to dva because their Ashe and widow was pretty oppressive and it was on Havana. He then swapped to Zarya till the end. Little bro tbag me at the end for saying counterswapping the tank in qp is crazy. Winston counters dva you dolt. It was never about you because you aren’t the real issue here.
The kiriko or moira should follow dva sometimes, I have a Friend play aggressive dva and I become kiriko to follow whenever dva go, and pray my other support help with the other Two dps I Watched everything, yep, the kiriko should follow the dva, the backline should get the Winston, Break his Bubble at least, lot of game I've played against Monkey, Nobody Break the Bubble, it pissed me off and have to be bap to Destroy the Bubble, In order to stop the monke, BREAK THE DAMN BUBBLE PLEASE
@@BluuShotDown I know how real DVa plays since my friend is a DVa main, so he always want a support that can follow up for easy heal access in case he's too far or can't peak in the open, so for me Kiriko is a good choice because she can easily tp and easy to go high ground, Moira might be a bit hard because you have to fade to where u are, If u wanna partner up, i don't mind at all tbh, I'm just so used to play supp according to tank 😂 (unless my other supp is already good for tank, I'll focus on type of DPS)
Winston just feels really overturned to me, he just shreds pretty much any thing fairly easily with low aim and high mobility with not enough punishments with the armor changes and he goes through shields and matrix so self defense sucks
Im the same rank and a dva main. You make the same mistake i di and waste rockets. Try being a bit more deliberate with them and disciplined with the range at which you activate them
Quick little question for anyone who can relate to this to answer but I think my friend has main character syndrome. I was playing mercy and I was pocketing the ashe on our team as you would, he was playing roadhog the other support was practically standing next to him all game and he complains that I wasn't healing him. He then proceeds to say that I don't know how to play mercy when I have nearly more hrs on mercy than he does on support as a whole. Am I the one in the wrong for assuming I don't need to babysit hog with another support with him all game
Personally I don't feel like anyone needs to "babysit" Roadhog. HE can heal HIMSELF. So the fact that he was being babysat is silly. He was wrong in my opinion as a support main myself. I have more hours as a support than any other. Yes, Road will occasionally need to be healed especially against a aggressive team, but a good Roadhog knows how to self sustain.
@@maddilee1189 I also think he doesn't realize that maybe the reason he thinks I'm playing mercy wrong is because he hasn't played mercy or the support role as a whole long enough to know I'm not doing it wrong. Just a thought
If they were another tank, i'd say you pocketing only DPS is definitely an issue. I've had one too many games where the Mercy absolutely refuses to heal me on tank. And if you have a second support that is heavily doing DPS over healing, it feels absolutely horrible as tank. You take a second of damage, you are almost dead, you have to either hide and wait for the passive to kick in or go back and find a health pack. In the mean time any space that you had managed to take is now gone so you're back at square one. Hog, however, is the exception. Unless they had an Ana constantly nading him, Hog is perfectly fine to survive on his own without a Mercy helping him. Obviously still top him up between fights or damage boost his ult, but he doesn't need as much help as the other tanks.

But the main reason he was dying was because he simply wasn't managing his healing properly he used the full heal every time which as we all should know by now managing your heal is like rule number one for roadhog ever since his rework

Attacking Winston body is not the best move as Dva now, but you can break bubble effectively as Dva. That’s how counter works.

100% his dps fault they lost that last point. DVA ult forced split decisons and cooldowns and they didnt capitilize on it at all.
