and yes, you were quite on point with your theories. in the mv as well, the woman in the black jacket in the crowd was also representation of his shadow/reflection/a part of himself. same goes for the choreo - if you visualize as if the women-dancers were his femininity and men-dancers were his masculinity - it would all make sence, you know.

My first K-Pop bias is trying to end me, istg 😂 his voice is so alluring in this, it just draws you in and keeps you mesmerized. And I love that he went the 80's synth pop direction with this, it just adds to the overall sensual and mesmerizing feel/tone of the song. BTS and Ateez are really great at interweaving their songs /storyline and meaning of the song into their lyrics and videos. They both get so deep with those meanings, and it just draws you in, immerses you and makes you want to learn more.
I ordered his album through WeVerse, it's the first time I've ordered from them, have y'all ever ordered from them? How'd it go, I'm just curious.
LOL he's trying to end us all 💀! And yes we have ordered through Weverse on many occasions (usually for pre-orders on merch). The main downside is that it can take quite a while for them to ship things 😭. I'd keep an eye on it but we've never not had something show up... we just usually forgot we ordered it by the time we get a shipping notice haha 🥲

There was this good theory i saw about this dance practice and MV about Jimin accepting his feminine side of himself and like learning how to embrace it.
Heeeeyyy!!!!!!!! I died, watching this mv and listen to the whole album!!!!! His voice is the best sound I have ever heard! He is my favorite voice in Kpop! Every time this beautiful man opens his mouth, I'm literally on the floor!!!!!! I adore him! If you didn't get it he is my bias(alongside with Kookie) ! 🤣🤣😍😍 Also I'm especially obssest with him because we are at the same age!!!! 😍🥴He is sooo freaking talented and beautiful and I love his personality sooo much!!!!! And he dances amazingly! The dance practice of this soong killed me! I'm obsest with this choreo! Also I love the song soo much! He did such a good job with this album! The 80s vibes icredible! And I thing that some of the songs have that film noir sound! Just like an old film!!!!! I'm so glad that now I have a whole album with his voice to hear all day and night! I know this is old but in the dance practice when he’s dancing with the girl and they are mirroring each other in the video around the same part of the lyrics for the MV you see him aimlessly walking around the club while everyone is dancing and once again you see a girl mirror him because she too is aimlessly wondering around the club with the exact same face expression as jimin I hope that made sense

personally i vibe with the theory that it's about jimin's journey to acceptance and discovery of a different side of him (also kinda ties with his photofolio concept - the chaos that ultimately ends with freedom). i feel like it could have a double meaning though, because it could be about the downfall and ending of a relationship as well. Maybe the breakup led him to this "facing", who knows! all i know is that i am loving all his debut content, i'm pretty obsessed tbh

Mud can symbolize a few things. I believe in this song it represents.... stagnation. He is "stuck" and cannot move on and is very lonely. He does not know which way to go. The club scene is part of a dream sequence and that may be why some of the people dancing are out of focus.

If this wasn't an MV, I would never trust that bathroom floor 🤢😂I like the way that the song talks about not saving/vs not saving Jimin, because in a lot of cases we see saving as being a good thing -- yet in this case, saving him in their eyes would be trapping him in his. I think it fits a lot with the lights in the video, and the way they're used too, cause we often think quite binary about light being associated with good, and darkness as synonymous to bad or evil, but here, there's almost a need for both to help set him free and move on. I dunno, I might be talking about nothing. It's definitely interesting though -- and I love the song. Jimin, Sir, I love you 😂

The last BTS concert we attended in person was the Love Yourself, Speak Yourself tour at MetLife Stadium. That was back in 2019 😭😭. It's been too long.
