OH has a special place in so many Stays' hearts, the MV was released as a surprise and that was how SKZ announced that Hyunjin was coming back from his hiatus. Him appearing in the MV was such emotional moment and I can't help but tear up whenever I rewatch it :') It was truly one of the happiest days for a lot of us because we missed him so much!!
I remember everyone crying and every reactor completely losing it! We were all so sad and waiting for him to come back, it was such a relief...
OH was the first MV that got released when I became a stay 😭 and Hyunjin went on hiatus on my birthday 💀 if i was a stay at that time i would hate my birthday literally

It is one of the great tragedies that we didn’t get a full mv for B Me.
The fact that we were given a glimpse of what could have been almost hurts worse.
I love the image of the cake. Felix lights the candle in Oh on the birthday cake (we know it's someone's birthday because of the cake icon on the calendar Minho has and they're not celebrating together), and him wishing that everyone could be together. He blows it out but the dream doesn't come true. Then at the end of The View, he's alone with the cake, he makes a wish as the candle is blown out, and it relights as soon as the rest of the boys gather around him. All the while, with the "Dream Comes True To Those Who Want Them" sign behind them.
The boys have graduated in Oh, and we see them packing up the classroom. The thing that Minho snatches out of Jisung's hands is Hyunjin's diploma. Some time passes as Minho shows up to Hyunjin's art studio and he no longer has the cast on. He leaves the diploma for him. Is the note him reaching out to reconcile? He's clearly sad about it in other scenes. He misses his friends.
Then the view! They're happy together, yay! But is it real? I guess you could see it both ways? Felix's dream came true! The boys are together again! OR is it a dream? He blows out the candle alone but the boys circle back around him and the candle relights, meaning he's back in this dream?
My head hurts thinking about it, LOL. I've seen some Stays speculate that Lonely St is a continuation of this story (and when you get to the video, you might see why). We didn't get anything from Maxident but I'm not convinced this story isn't over...
Also, the reaction you had to Hyunjin when he first appeared in Oh is one we ALL had. It was our first time seeing him since his hiatus and it was sooooo unexpected. I bawled like a BABY.
And then i was thinking ~~ how if SKZFLIX is actually the continuation of these storyline?(●__●)
Is it real or is it a dream 🤣? We're glad to know we aren't the only ones who are a bit confused. I hope it's not the end! I would love to see this storyline continue, but if it is.. it was such a heart wrenching but lovely mini-series.

Mixtape: Oh means the world to STAYs who were present during Hyunjin's hiatus. This mv was literally our very first sighting of Hyunjin during his hiatus and it came out of nowhere aswell...so many jaws were dropped once he appeared in the mv. Then shortly after he was announced to be returning from his hiatus to reunite to us and most importantly the boys. Tears were falling on this day.
And what a way to make a return. That MV was GORGEOUS! I bet there wasn't a dry eye in the fandom that day.
idk if anyone have mentioned this but I personally thinks Winter Falls MV is like the alternate reality for the whole On Track’s universe. The View seems too good to be true, like it’s still part of their “dream” but Winter Falls has that bittersweet feelings, u can still feel their pain and tho they might not recover their friendship fully, they’re trying to burn all the painful memories and learn to heal.
The korean title for Mixtape On Track is : even a fool knows. It's the first line of the song and it fits the theme completely.

In the 'oh' mv the candle didn't went out even when it was raining indicating that it was a dream that felix wished for but In ' the view' the candle went off meaning that felix dream came true~and that the kids got together.
So the ' dreams come true for those who truely wants them' actually did.
This is my favorite theory because I'm always in favor of a happy ending 🥰

(edit 1) I'm so sorry to Inne but I think his role in that little film for On Track was Third wheel. Like it wasn't enough that he had to see the love triangle going on, for the film they had to make him the best friend/third wheel
(edit 2) B Me is like "And this is why you stay away from romance everyone. It can lead to entire friend groups breaking apart". Also the paper Han burned was an entry form for a film contest, which you know they can't do anymore due to the film club sort of breaking apart like that.
(edit 3) here are some fun facts for Mixtape: Oh
1) this was how the fandom found out Hyunjin was coming back from his hiatus. Apparently it dropped without warning as Skz do and everyone flipped out when they saw him in the MV
2) the 'Stray Kids' at the end of the MV which is normally in Bang Chan's handwriting was written by Hyunjin
3) when Changbin is on the bus looking at those pics on his phone, those are actually from behind the scenes of B Me. If y'all want please go check out the making film- check it out in your own time or maybe do a reaction if you want- it's a bit over 20 minutes long but so much fun to watch, especially when they're filming the basketball scenes. They got so into it they forgot they were filming... and come on, more blond ponytail Hyunjin.
(edit 4, this comment is so long, I am sorry😭) Until now we have to assume that The View is the end and the boys did end up getting back together in Film Club AU cause that's the last we've seen of it but there are theories that yes, The View was Felix's dream and didn't actually happen.

For mixtape OH, the Korean title is mixtape: 애 (ae) which means baby in korean and since the hanguel looks like OH in English, they made the English title mixtape: OH. 😊

Just a couple quick comments and theories! There’s a theory that it was actually a love square and IN was crushing on Hyunjin and that’s why he’s always watching him and then mixtape oh is super special because this was our first time seeing Hyunjin after his hiatus. I remember crying a lot and literally going through pretty much frame by frame to give my friends exact time stamps of exactly when he appeared

yeah, as may others said, OH is very unique one. Hyunjin was on hiatus from the end of february do the end of june. His first message after so long was the 1st of July. The situation was very anxious for everyone during that time. These bullying scandals were everywhere, even few idols were kicked out of their groups so we were seriously scared. He couldnt talk with us, kids didnt talk about him. we knew nothing. SKZ were fighting in Kingdom like champs, but it showed on Chans room, how difficult it is for all of them. Because we were scared we even couldnt celebrate his birthday on Twitter, because it could attract unwanted attention towards him so thats why until today you can see little dumpling emoticon that we used instead of his name (btw his birthday is in march so when LeeKnow looked at this calendar, it says much more). Yes, I always tear up again (especially when Hyujin sings "What should I do?" in the tone like what should I do that you wont hate me) when i am watching OH and I feel really happy watching and listening View, because that was not just Lix´s wish but all of us.
They always have interesting MVs and they are really good actors. Sometimes it takesme a while until I understand the meanings but it always come to me sooner or later. :-)

The chills and feels i get everytime with OH 🥹 For The View,in the introduction of the album,Changbin said they wrote it a long time ago and decided to finally put it in that album. Also you can see in The View,Changbin had again the basketball and Seungmin the guitar,like in OH.
For me,i like to think that The View was what Felix wished for in OH and it happened since the saying says "Dreams come true to those who truly want them". And yes,Hyunjin is Howl;i still want him to cosplay him one day

I couldn't find all the meanings they planted, but the beginning of this series is the story of Lee Know and Hyunjin, who like the same girl, and I.N., who likes Hyunjin.
I still have a lot of questions. In the behind-the-scene clip of "B Me" music video, I.N. is hurt by Seungmin, but he didn't say the reason.
Maybe it's because Jung-in was caught liking Hyun-jin, but some people say it's because Jung-in hurt Lee-no.But I don't think the story will go that far.
Anyway, the story flows toward showing the desire of the movie club friends who broke up due to a quarrel between Lee Know and Hyun Jin to get together again.
We're going to need to see that making of video...

It is theorized B Me doesnt have an MV cuz it was supposed to be part of what they were filming in ON track. But they never finished filming it after their fight. I still wait for the MV to this day 😔

Finally!! I'm so excited
Stray Kids are actually self formed, and they became a group without the company putting them together. I think that really helps them be relatable. And yes, this is just for Japan. The outfits are crazy with Japan comebacks. I find it funny though that he cant help but to say that, because a girl group shot an arrow made of water (it was a water arrow, his was electricity. And in fact, it all connects to their storyline they came up with. It even links to Thunderous with the electricity stuff. It's a whole awesome thing. In fact, SKZ are one of the very few groups in kpop and the only one in 4th gen that have full creative control, they just have to get everything a final approval by the company to do it. (except Japanese comebacks, they write all the music, and they of course contribute to the choreography and even have a say im the concept for the MV. However... This 8sna full album comeback. Their first ever. In Japan. They had to take a backseat somewhere. As you can see. Lol the truth is they are just so busy and are doing so much of everything that they quite literally couldn't do more. The company was begging them to rest. They also just got done with another leg of their tour. And they are preparing the really important album now. The Korean one. Unfortunately, these Japanese comebacks don't get much effort from the company. If it wasn't for SKZ. That MV wouldn't have even existed, forget it being any good. Theres just so much to it, but yeah, this is a group that is responsible for 99.7% of their music and 80% of their creative direction, MV concepts, comeback concepts and everything in between. The whole point of Stray Kids was to have an experimental group that didn't need the company to form them, do everything for them, and basically puppet them. They have really fought and struggled to be where they are. They are actually the most attacked and yated group in kpop right now. For no other reason than the amount of fame they have reached. Going by sales, streams, subscribers and core fans... they were the 2nd biggest group of 2022 according to Circle. Although they were considered the third biggest kpop group worldwide, and coming in at the SEVENTH MOST POPULAR AND BEST SELLING ARTIST.... AS IN ARTIST PERIOD.... IN THE WORLD! Yeah, crazy. They have made their company unbelievably wealthy.
For me OH was my first SKZ MV and I didn't know anything about Hyunjins hiatus. It was just so... beautiful. The vocals, the emotions... I'm glad that it has no baggage for me coz its one of my skz favs. I still need b me's MV nau!
I know others have already wrote it but Mixtape: Oh means so much to stays. It was a surprise release when Hyunjin was on hiatus and basically this is what announced us it ended.
The first seconds, there's only Han, I still remember (why am I cryin now? Lol) I was sad cause I was hoping for Hyunjin's return and then... there he was. He was back. And I had to pause and go back various times to be sure I didn't dream it and to see again and then I thought about stays. I went on twitter and stays were collectively crying over the return of our Hyunie.
Mixtape: Oh will always be more than a song to us, it will always be the moment when we had the 8 of them again.

B Me did get a little physical because of the tension they were feeling especially with Hyunjin and Minho still being on each other's throats because of what happened. In the behind the scenes of the mv, Seungmin said that he was the one that beat up I.N in that one scene of the unveil. Lee Know who got hit by a car driven by Han and was intentional (If I could remember correctly).
To be honest, the full song of B Me was so endearing to hear especially with the drum beats close to the end.

En "OH" fue la cancion despues de que Hyunjin vovio del hiatus, fue cuando por fin podian estar todos juntos de nuevo y acabo todo esos meses de sufriento sin saber nada el. “On Track” is my favorite and most played song on Spotify… though with SLZ it’s hard to choose. I listen to this song minimum 4/5 times a day from my playlist. Something about the lyrics and arrangement of that song that is something special

The alternative universe of them handling a school movie club project is so enderaring to know to be honest. It was rumored SOMEWHERE I know that I watched something related to I.N that he was indeed part of it as the one that has a hidden feeling towards Hyunjin BUT it's a rumor so I don't exactly know.
MOVING ON- The relationship of the members with each other especially hyunjin and Minho's because of liking the same girl is gradually going from in shambles (On Track), to havoc (B Me), to loneliness (Oh), to being together again (The View). It's just so... I don't really know how to describe it other than, it's a heart churning turn of events throughout the mv's. It's literally a Teen movie.

I´m pretty sure that you know by now but Oh has a special meaning for us (stays) bc it was the video that show Hyunjin again after his hiatus and it was the most HORRIBLE, SADDEST, UNDER THE WATER, TERRIFYING, DEPRESSING, and ANGUISH moment for all stays. I cried so hard that I couldn´t stop, I miss him so much and you watched all the members suffer as well through their videos leaving little messages that said "we miss Hyunjin", and "bring back our Jiniret". There are reaction videos of that video that show what I´m saying. Thank God that everything is good now and that´s in the past. I just hope we NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, have to experience that AGAIN!!
first two videos about while hyunjin and minho loving her,jeongin was loving hyunjin and yk obviously he felt jelousy. as a so many stay we were thinking like that and after one year jeongin was doing a vlive,he said that he has to act jelousy. the second video that you guy's played were about everyone learned jeongin's feelings that's why his face like that ^^

I finished the whole video and I just want to say: you'll understand B Me within the story more when you watch the Making Film. Unfortunately, it didn't get a full MV, therefore there are loads of information still missing from that part of the story. I didn't want to add it to your "must watch for this storyline", because you can get the gist from the unveil only and because it would be another video and it would be too much to watch in one sitting, I think?
Also, I came to the conclusion yesterday with other Stays that Mixtape Time Out might continue in this storyline, because of ending frame in The View (a beach and Time Out is filmed at a beach) and the frames in between (if you're reading this before you react to that mixtape, I'd recommend going through the video after the first or second view and look at the written texts and pictures in between the moving scenes/shots.
It's not really clear however, because they never said they finished the storyline. I still have high hopes that this storyline is connected to SKZFLIX, but we'll see. 👀
(And I have loads of other theories how this might be connected to the main storyline but that's just not based on anything and my writer's brain going: OH THAT WOULD BE SO COOL IF IT'S CONNECTED LIKE THAT.)
But yeah, this is a kinda intense storyline hahaha. Especially B Me threw a lot of people off track hahaha. Some people say Ex (one of the first ones you watched) might be connected to this storyline, but I'm not really sure about it to be honest. Problem with this, is that it's not really clear of which is connected which one is not, so it makes the lines of the story sometimes unclear hahaha. I do love all of these though.
Mixtape OH has a special place in my heart because it's one of the first softer songs I've ever heard from SKZ and I fell in love with Jisung's voice in there (the bridge especially haha). You've already reacted to SLUMP, but Mixtape OH also has a recording of The First Take, I can definitely recommend reacting to that!

Omg so many people have so many different theories. It's been a lot of fun to read about honestly. Time Out is the one Mixtape we haven't seen yet right? I think I remember it was one of the most recent MVs on our list to react to (other than the stuff we've done already!). I'll try to keep that in mind and take a look at the text in the MV. Though if there's text flashing around I'm not sure we'll be able to contain ourselves from stopping at looking at it either way 😂😂.

Just weird additional information I don't really think is related to the storyline, but adds up the meanings and all-on track was written by changbin! And he said that yes while the mv is romantic in its reading, it's mostly a song about how you should always be on track of your journey towards your goal. You should not give up, (and you'll regret it if you do) and more than goals, the things that are important to you. I think the main theme of these whole four mvs is their friendship and the love they have for each other and their work. Mixtape oh was hyunjin's first mv appearance after his hiatus, without any announcement, and I remember crying bcs nobody had no news and they dropped a video and there he was. That's also an mv I just think is about missing each other. Yeah they had a rift and a fight in on track and b me but now they've grown up and they just. Want each other back or smth smth lmao. The view is so happy inducing! I love them when they are all happy together! It also reminds me of their ex mv, where they are sad and brooding the whole mv but are joyful when in the end they come together! I have a love-hate relationship with this storyline cause like the story is "somewhat" realistic and very K-drama like and it shows off a different side of acting for the kids but it's so sad and full of unanswered drama. Like yeah Lee Know and Hyunjin's relationship got ruined by romance but what was up with Lee Know getting hit by Han (Han hit Lee Know with his car which is why Lee Know had a cast), I.N looked beat up and we don't know why and there's why they all separated in the first place, so many unknowns.
"Mixtape:OH" was a "welcome back Hyunjin" announcement which made me cheer/screech happily yet I found the story and song sad upon seeing the MV, it's clear that they miss each other and want to reconnect but they literally chose a wrong time (calling when the person wasn't there in the room to pick up the phone, going to visit when they're out and etc ..). "The View" is so dreamlike I agree with you, and I see it as Felix perspective, his wish but whether it came true or not is up for debate. Lastly, some Stays say that "Winter Falls" is part of this storyline too, like it's them very slowly getting back together, in this version "The View" doesn't come true (it's Felix dream/wish) and "Winter Falls" is what happens instead and then I saw a few that said Lonely St is what the kids felt while separated
P.S I believe bookish theory had pieced together the storyline (their interpretations) and if you want then the "Making Films" can help give some clues

mixtape oh!!! the song that made me lose all my dignity and cry on the bus after work when i first watched it!! i could not wait to see hyunjin but in hindsight i probably should have dkjdfjkfdkj but in all seriousness, it came after such a hard time in the fandom and getting to see hyunjin right there, all soft vocals, with the same dark hair as before hiatus, like no time has passed... it was a lot. really hard to describe those emotions in words but to this day mixtape oh is way more than just a song to stays ;___; even the cover art to it was drawn by hyunjin,,, it's so special

the thing about the view is that some stays speculate that this was just a part of felix's dream and that the real continuation follows in winter falls and then lonely street. and that also links grow up into the same universe actually (them in school and everything and i'm not gonna spoil lonely street but. if you watch it you might get why stays think these are linked too)

oh i dont knnow if you guys will be interested, but there's this channel "bookish theories" (if they're still around), and they basically figure out the storyline to kpop group's mvs etc etc, i actually watched their vids on these mvs to help figure out somethings in this filmclub story. bc they also include some of the things that the kids mentiton in the 'making films' of the mvs, that's part of the storyyline, that dind't rly show in the mvs itself (ESPECIALLY for the b me making film). that channel also covered the skz universe storyline too, with 2 moons and stuff.
edit: I FORGOT TO MENTION! i dont know if u guys noticed that at the end of OH, when hyunjin was looking at the camera, he looked slightly surprised. hyunjin revealed during one of his vlive that he got surprised bc lee know came back into the room WHICH, isn't like, y'kno, part of the mv, but im gonna choose to believe that lee know showing back up in the room is part of the story, and those 2 were the first in the friend group to reconnect and reconcile

i think it goes like this: hyunho was like besties who got each other back, they caught in the feels and in that love triangle, messing up their film club movie they're trying to get into a competition with and breaking apart their friendship and also with everyone else cause like "dude it's our future and our dream" kind of situation, and since hyunho isnt with each other anymore at some point leeknow either got in a fight or accident and hyunjin wasnt there anymore to back him up, hence the broken arm in mixtape oh, hyunjin didnt even come to the school to pick up his stuff (after graduation) he probably been avoiding them (and school) after leeknow's accident cause he felt somewhat guilty but cant go and apologize cause ye, and leeknow ended up going to hyunnie's place leaving a note probably something stupid but hyunjin knows then that they're alright now
also mixtape oh was hyunjin's first official comeback after his 6months(?) hiatus, so we were sobbing at that point at the sight of him, like we were in a drought, and finally we're okay

honestly i think the fight really happened but felix wished for them to get back together so they did. you can see in the bridge i think that the color slightly changed when felix had the cake with the candle and he was alone then. but then they all came back together and blew out his candle together. so i think they resolved their fight 🥰💕

i can't help but think about the dream of be all together again like before and the mixtape oh mv where hyunjin appears for the first time after his hiatus, I relate not only the storyline but also what they really went through at that time, that ("oh" mv) was a really special and important moment for stay and i'm sure also for skz cause hyunjin came back so they're together, i want to think that the story goes like this as well. Unfortunately we don't have the mv for "be me" , like the one for domino 🥲 and we have to settle for the unveil, but we do have the song, will you listen to it soon?

(this is a long one, I'm just gushing over everything HAHA, love Bri's shirt btw since the latter half is a personal truth (My Pace must be ur anthem hehe) I relate so much with Tori just pausing for Hyunjin in B Me, we've been robbed of an MV 😭 -- I'm also waiting for skzflix with u, they baited us with the promise last yr haha but I guess schedule wouldn't let it)
because skz write their songs, there is this anchored reality and resolution in their song and career. Maybe On Track was just supposed to be a love story, and B Me is the sequel to add a resolution to the film. But it also coincided with the irl physical separation since Hyune did have his hiatus (which I believe you were already a part of, if memory serves right). Hence, Mixtape: OH and Hyune's return is cathartic for us STAYs and the persona of SKZ in the film who also reaches out to Hyune and wishing for a comeback. And honestly the rap of Changbin in The View is personal trigger because of the emotion it pulls in me.
MV wise, ON TRACK has been a fun plot which STAYs have enjoyed interpretting and unravelling. Two boys having their friendship torn by this romance, and I.N being in a similar position as Hyunjin (ie, seemingly yearning for Hyunjin just as Hyunjin yearned for their girl lead... but we also have the Hyune x Lino narrative coz while Hyune held the girl's hand back, it was like Hyune had a staring contest with Lino instead HAHA)
I lowkey thought you'd also search for B Me's full song haha.
And as discussed, Mixtape:OH ... yep, an implosive emotional journey.
But The View is an absolute celebration, not just in this storyline, but their career (other STAYs mentioned that Felix's dream did come true). I think this is why this storyline is extra special because it addresses both the plot of their MVs but even their struggles (the latter is common for SKZ since they seem to know how to plot their song releases as much as they are able to write their personal aspirations within their lyrics)
PS. The cake has been quite the symbol ever since ANY (at least from what I know, and IG coz theyre in the same album) and it was also in their trailer for The Sound.

We really like it when you can apply the meaning behind their lyrics and MVs multiple ways. The fact that their lyrics can relate so well with the story they're trying to tell through there MVs can also be flipped around and compared to how they are feeling in their real lives and the things they're personally going through. It just adds another layer to how good their music is.

I feel like Innie was fourth wheeling the whole time. But when they were filming for their movie it seemed like Innie was the supporting friend of the story or it was a love triangle again.

So i'll start with the thing everyone mentionned but I'll still mention it. This song is the come back of Hyunjin ! Sadly I could have been a stay for this era but I was dumb and didn't stan them so I was not. And I have to admit that sometimes when I listen to this song I remember all the compilations of stays crying when Hyunjin appeared and that gives me chills. But at the same time I'm thankful that I wasn't there because unlike the majority of stays, I do not associate this song with Hyunjin but with Minho because I'm in love with his parts !
As I said since I didn't know about the whole storyline that made me see all the sad things in the MV that I honestly never saw.

I never noticed but in this MV, we got the incredible bluesung, which means Han with blue hair. It's basically a cult at this point. Every stays I know agrees that bluesung was one of yhe best thing that ever happened to stayville !

Are you surprised if I tell you that the bridge is my fav part ? It's honestly probably my favorite bridge of all of skz songs ! Changbin and Minho rapping together it's the best thing ! I love hearing Minho rapping but I love it way more when he is that aggressive because it's his style and I love it ! And Changbin and Minho's styles of rapping really go well with each other, probably because Changbin taught him how to rap !
Also a new point that is starting to become an habit ! Their outfits !!!! The whole week we got of The view performance really showed absolutely gorgeous outfits ! Probably one of my fav styling of all of skz !
And lastly, a little point about the story line as a whole. Lix is always fiming the other members.... in The view, Superboard and I can't think of others right now ! Hello! I love "on track" it's written by Changbin! The Mv is so amaing! Minho and Hyunjin is just a very dangerous duo! They are both extrimly beautiful and I would have died if I was in the girl's posision! Though I'm to biased so I would definately have chosen Minho! (Sorry Hyunjinie 😭😅) Innie, looks like he is Hyunjin's best friend, that's why he is always beside him. They all look grate in this Mv! Channie looks breathtaking and Jisung looks soo cute! So in "Be Me" the group has broke apart because of what happened between Hyunjin and Minho. Sorry but I don't remember exactly the storry here! But Hyunjin with the long blond hair look fenomenal!
