You can use Dorland’s Wax Medium to seal watercolor paint on paper. It should work on eggs too. A little goes a long way. Rub it on with your fingertip then buff with a soft cloth. It does not disturb the paint.
Going to do this as a family together by video chat this year. Last year we did your bunny and had a blast. Those of us who took it seriously had a great product. Of course we have some jokesters in the family who were pure comic relief and didn’t follow your advice completely. Thank you for your generous teaching.
I paint along with you often, and I have learned so much! This is my favorite lesson so far! I painted 2 of them and made Easter cards with them. Thank you for all you do. You are so talented!
This was great & much easier to do than I anticipated! Going to do a few more just so I can design different Eggs & assuage my desire to dye real ones this year. :) Thank you for your Tutorial.
Yours turned out really beautiful. I posted an egg video 3 days ago. I just love your videos and wish mine were a quarter as good. You are such an inspiration 🥰
Hi Emma, I hope you are staying healthy! I have been watching your videos for the past 6 months and I am really enjoying them especially in quarantine! I was wondering if you could watercolor some sweets! Like lollipops, candies, ice cream cones, and cupcakes! I think they would be really fun to learn! From Emery, California age 12
Hi Emma, I watched your tutorial on painting plastic Easter Eggs & this year found the white plastic eggs to paint. My question is...what product do you use to seal the painted eggs so they don’t smudge? Love all your tutorials ! You are a great teacher. Hope you & your family stay safe & healthy during these uncertain times.
Alice Ezeard it’s hard because with watercolour, you run the risk of smudging by adding a wet sealer. I personally didn’t seal mine, but I would try a spray maybe?
Last year I painted flowers on boiled eggs. They turned out pretty, but your fingers get messy when you go to peel them. Thanks for another great tutorial!
OMG. Way different than last year's also beautiful blue robin eggs, right? Was that Easter? I've forgotten. And I NEVER knew if you blended complements, they were shadow colors! Duh. Head smack. You wouldn't believe my creative means to create shadows! Happy Easter, Emma! (your hair looks FAB btw!) Frances Turano Denver, CO
I'm definitely going to try this one!! Which Winsor and Newton Professional colors do you have in your palette? I have a few already, but looking to expand a bit :)
Thank you for this darling video!!! You showed me how to correct something that happens to me a lot. Just wet it all over! It was a dah moment!! It can be fun being somewhat new!! Love your videos and your precious son!! 💐💐
Hi, I'm sewing face masks and catching up on the videos I've missed. I wanted to let you know how pretty you look in this video. Thanks for making these for us Be safe.

Cute new bangs! Love this project.
I’ve learned so much from You, this time it was how to make a natural shadow colour by adding contrast colour! You rock!
Cutest nest of eggs ever! Love it
I 💗 it! Although this is waaay above my amateur abilities, I am going to give it a go. The egg with the flowers is my favourite
You can absolutely do this, Nellene! Just take it one tiny step at a time. You got this girl!

👏👏💓💓
Omg you look exactly like Bridget mendler it’s crazy
Instead of contrasting, do you mean complimentary?
And this is beautiful by the way.
It’s the same thing
I thought you had painted on real hard boiled eggs!
Lol. I thought you were gonna watercolor on actual hard boiled eggs!
Me too!
@@ratherbfishing455 Emma did that once to plastic eggs, but I don't think watercolor paint worked well on such an absorbent surface.
@@FannaTurano Probably need to paint them with white spray paint or hard boiled eggs.
wow this looks like a Let make art tutorial from last year. if you are gonna rip someone off at lease give them a little credit.
Beautiful!
