OUR Dan..one of our best ever!! ❤🤍 we love the bones of him!!! It'll break our hearts when he moves on, but he's premier league bound for sure and he'll forever have safc fans follow him wherever he goes. So proud of him. Thankfully, he has just signed another contract and he will help get us back where we belong. We just need a proven striker..

Webby im confused i know Middlesbrough &Sunderland supporters. If my imagination don't play tricks with me a derogatory nickname for boro fans is smoggies.but here's the money question why are Sunderland &Middlesbrough fans called the mackems.?..

middlesbrough fans have NEVER been called mackems.The reason Sunderland are called mackems is to complicated to put on here.
If you google Middlesbrough nicknames it comes up as the mackems. a lad from Rothwell I worked with supportered the boro he would often piss us leeds fans off when all of a sudden he would shout out up the mackems or away the mackems. So now I'm even more confused.
