Im relatively new to the sales side of life but from what I see(3 years), he got a chance to show confidence and his talent in that interview or whatever this was, and ended up breaking down under pressure. When you are in front of any customer , hesitation like that will not give you a sale ….. they will leave just like how he was quick to go after being told to get out . Selling is about being confident, knowing what a product is and who you are selling it to. If you do not start anywhere in that triangle …. Then how are you going to be the bread winner by the end of the conversation? No point in waisting time .
Coulda just said waters essential to life and you look like a man who appreciates the essentials
