Great Dancing; Great singing!! Elegant movements. Grace in the dance! Celebration of Annamacharya the great; Celebration of the great Telugu language. Smt Sreeragini Ghantasala performed the Kuchipudi dance in excellently. The play back musicians are also brilliant. Congratulations.
The song and the dance performance are undoubtedly excellent; but someone please tell the camera and editing teams how important 'pada-nyasa' (footwork) is in Indian classical dances. Almost as a rule, they have left the lower legs and feet out of the frame: mostly while shooting (in spite of at least the three cameras used), and when they have included, the editor makes sure the rest is spoiled. Shooting live dance performances is different from other forms that might need more of mid-shots and close-ups (- this latter is neither served well in the video, unfortunately). Let's do justice to our own arts in modern media. Nice work overall, thanks everyone involved!
Best kuchipudi I've ever had the pleasure of viewing! Lovely singing and aesthetics. I'm sure there's plenty of meaning just below the surface if you know the history.
How many ever times I watch it I am not satisfied...... Such a beautiful dance ❤️ what a melody in singing and music and mainly the grace in the dance 👌👌 it's classic...... No words to express my happiness ...... I've tried this dance but I doubt if it's this graceful..... She's simply superb 🤗
Fantastic rendering.Appropriate movements precisely executed. Must have taken lot of practice Congratulations. Please present more songs in this style. ay others have done this but none come anywhere close to Ms. Sreeragini Ghantasala's virtuoso performance.
Melodious Ragam with dedicated dance with good expression. Melodious singer with dedicated Pakkavadyam group. May I know who is the singer. ? May God Sri Rama bless all the group.
Immaculate performance. Brings me to tears in the very beginning when this lady takes the stance of kOdanda paaNi shreeraama. Excellent dance, choreography and singing. The singer has done an excellent job as well. I'm guessing she is a telugu speaking person. Singer could take a few tips on the differences between telugu pronunciations and sanskrit pronunciations. This entire poem is composed in sanskrit. It would be best to pronounce the words as pronounced in sanskrit and not impose telugu pronunciations. I'm taking particular exception to the pronunciation of the word "lankaa vishOShaNam". It has been pronounced as "lankaa visOshaNam" (if you understand my transliteration. Use of specific upper case letters is delibarate). In sanskrit, the avargeeya vyanjanas "sha", "Sha" and "sa" are all different pronunciations. The first is called "taalavya sha" (example "shashi")... the second is called "moordhanya Sha" (example ShaNmukha)... the third "sa" (example saraswati). Sometimes, these three akSharas are not pronounced properly... particularly because they don't know how to pronounce moordhanya "Sha" akShara. We all had a soft spot in our head back when we were born, which hardens as we grow up. This akShara is pronounced as if air is escaping through that soft spot i.e., the crown (moordha=head). Because this is difficult to understand and pronounce, it leads to mispronunciations (even for me, to this day... unless I pay specific attention to my pronunciation). Therefore, people of kannada end up pronouncing "sha" and "Sha" the same way... and people of telugu end up pronouncing "sha" and "sa" the same way. But these three are really 3 different pronunciations. It would be best to watch some videos on sanskrit akshara pronunciations on youtube or consult a sanskrit teacher. I've been watching the quality of productions from "Indian Raga". They are far far superior to all others. Many superlative, unique videos have been produced. No one looks for flaws in a rough diamond... but after polishing, no one cares for how many flaws have been removed... and what flaws have remained are really glaring. Hope you don't mind my comment. I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or upset anyone or disrespect the super talented artistes. I am admirer and hope this tip helps.
@@maruthiprasad1839 Sir... with all due respect... I disagree... No, this is not a telugu song. This entire song is in sanskrit...
