Great use of the cedars. I never though of taking them and having the 6X6 post cut out of half of the log so it's one solid piece. Always attached the base of the bling to the top of the tree or old telephone pole.
Caddo county Oklahoma. We live on 165 acres with 3 creeks ( that stay dry most of the year) and a pond and lots of oak trees. Great deer and turkeys. The hogs just started moving in on us but we keep them in check with traps.
Wow, that sounds like a little piece of heaven. Well everything except the hogs. I personally hate hogs on a property, they can destroy it in no time. Hunters that don't have to take care of the land usual love them since its something else to hunt. Hope the hogs aren't tearing up your place to bad. Thanks for watching.
@@turnerhomestead3945 We had a place on the river and the hogs were terrible. Just 1 mile away from the water and we never see hogs. Crazy how the stay close to the water...

It made it super strong since it is a one piece beam now...
Nice job !!!
Thanks!
Great build sir, are those red or white cedar? Would love to get a look at those notes.
They are Eastern Red Cedar. Honestly I am not sure where the notes are at this point. Its been a few years. I will look around...
Thanks for watching!

Okay I hunt in Major County, Ok
Yeah I hope so. Hogs kept messing up my corn feeders. So haven’t seen as many deer.
